"Some people go through their entire life showing no respect for other people's time. This appointment was made with his wife for 11:30 as he stated.. A responsible person expecting a visit from a company to solve a problem at his home at a specific time does not step outside to engage in a yard project at the time of the appointment without a phone. Honest people do not add lies to their story to justify their irresponsible choices. After I rang his camera door bell and no one came to the door I texted his wife explaining no one has come to the door. The point of having a camera door bell is receiving an alert on your phone when someone is at your door no matter where you are. After a few minutes his wife responded saying she would call him. Five more minutes go by before she notifies me he is not answering his phone. He adds more lies by saying he is ten feet from the front door which if true would have allowed him to see my van in his driveway. The text message this customer posted is a document that proves he made no effort to be in his home at the appointment time and even his wife could not locate him. I text back to his wife I am leaving her home. Twenty minutes later my cell rings and a man asked me were you the one that was just at my house which I confirmed. He offered no apology to me , but wanted to know if I would come back or reschedule. I declined the offer. He then stated that's ok and threatened to review my company. Anyone reading his comments and choice of language will understand he takes no responsibility for his lack of respect for other people's time. I maintain an A rating on Angie's List for over ten years. This can only be achieved by servicing customers who are invested in the process of solving their problem on the same level I am."

"Thank you so much for taking time to recognize the quality of our work."
"I use a very methodical approach to solving my customers leather problems to provide them all the information required for every customer to make their best decision about investing in restoring their leather furniture. The written quote form I provide to each customer is very detailed and reflects all the facts discussed in my initial free evaluation of the furniture that covers the current condition of the leather, a description of the leather issue described by me and the refinishing methods I would use to satisfy the customer. I first met with Mr. Member who was managing this project for the family. Mrs. Member was not in the house during that meeting. A written quote was provided and Mr. Member chose a date when I would pick up the cushions that were sun faded, and damaged by the family pets. We collect 50% of the quote on the day we pick up and the balance upon delivery. I pointed out to Mr, Member that the leather on the frame of the two sofas was also sun bleached and the primer color on the hide was showing through which changed the original appearance of the coloration on the leather. I was able to show Mr. member the original finish on the leather by showing him the last three inches on a seat cushion that was hidden under one of the the back cushions and never exposed to the sun or their pets. I explained this is the color we will match and stated it will look different than the bleached leather on the frame which he did not want me to quote for refinishing which I interpreted as budget constraint situation. Mr. Member selected a date on which I would return to pick up all the cushions to refinish. When I came to pick up the cushions Mrs. Member was there and I introduced myself. She at no time asked me any questions about the process I had written down on my detailed quote sheet which reinforced my impression that Mr. Member was in charge of this project. I returned the cushions a week later. Mr. Member commented they were a more solid color than the frame, but he said," I had to have this done as the cushions appearance was so unsightly." I reminded him how I pointed out to him what the original color finish looked like on the seat cushion area leather that slid under the back cushion. He made no other comment. If you enlarge the photo they posted you will see how sun bleached the leather on the frame is exposing the primer coat on the hide along with dog scratches all over the leather on the frame. Mrs. Member was not at home when I returned the cushions. Our invoice has a signature line at the bottom of the page for customers to sign and directly below that line in large text it says, "WORK SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED". Mr. Member paid me the balance due and signed the invoice. That night I received a phone call from Mrs, Member who from the moment I answered the phone was loudly abusive and there was no way I could communicate with her. The only sentence I was able to say without being interrupted was I will be glad to meet with you at your home to address your concerns. I received no response to that offer. In reference to the claim that these were $20,000 sofas which is false in the condition they were in. I was asked how much these would be if they were purchased brand new and I said "about $20,000 for both if the same quality were reproduced." In the sun and pet damaged condition they were in the resale value would be $1500 for both. Clearly there is a significant difference between Mr. and Mrs. Member on what they wanted done to make severely damaged leather from their pets and direct UV sun damage look like compared to the original finish. I never heard from them again. I take what my customers say very seriously which I why I have maintained an "A" rating with Angies List for a long time as well as the BBB and all other ratings across the public media."
"We are always grateful to our customers when they take the time to recognize the professional service we strive to offer and the outstanding quality of leather repair work we produce for them."
"We always appreciate recognition of our expertise from our customers so we thank you for taking the time to let others know how important moisturizing leather is to keep it looking good and feeling soft."
