He showed up on time and seemed to know what he was doing. He provided appropriate suggestions during his visit; however, it's been months and we have NEVER received the final written report. We have attempted to contact him and he does not reply.

Mr. Tsao responded quickly to the initial inquiry and arrived promptly as scheduled to perform the inspection. He told me the cracks were due to some seasonal ground shifting and that they were cosmetic. He suggested some grading work in certain areas to improve drainage. He said the movement in my foundation was in the normal range and explained how he arrived at his conclusion. He promised to forward a written report and to be available to answer any questions I might have regarding the report in the future. The report took awhile to get from him. I had to make some follow up calls. When I did get the report, however, it came with an apology for the delay. I assume this means that the delay was unusual in my case.

The company ad in the phone book looks professional and a little intimidating but it seems to be solely Mr. Tsao who is not intimidating in person but is quite professional. I've called Pinnacle engineering 3 times over the years. Once for a report on the house I just sold, once for a house I was considering purchasing , and once for the house I just bought. All 3 times Mr. Tsao (pronounced chow) came over and took specific measurements around the entire house and property. Told me basically what he found and later mailed a hardcopy report and correction recommendation. He says if a company you hire for repairs recommends a different solution you may contact him for no extra charge to analyze the correction companies ideas and to give advice.
