PENSKE TRUCK RENTAL & LEASING

Tried to pick up the truck at the Mesquite Home Depot. I had it reserved for 7AM and showed up about 7:30. The truck was not there yet. I was at a loss because there were multiple texts, calls, and emails from Penske prior to this that the equipment would be there. They had called and left a last minute VM (I was in the shower and missed it), that the truck would not be there. Truck ended up being about 3 hours late. They attempted to apply a ‘discount’ as compensation. However, that seem to have negated an earlier discount and the final price was more than what I was quoted. I was late and tired of dealing with a 2nd party (Home Depot) who had no power to do much about the situation, so I accepted it and left. If I were to deal with these guys in the future I would make sure it was an actual rental lot that has multiple trucks on hand. The trailer had some issues. Realized about halfway through the trip that the trailer brakes were not working. Fun stuff. On the positive side the truck was band new and was probably the best rental truck I have ever driven. The non-Penske folks I dealt with on each end were friendly and tried to help as much as they could.

My experience was good, like I expected it to be. When we drove the truck, we didn't break down and it works fine. They're courteous and helpful.

They gave us nice equipment. They are top notch.

They were phenomenal. We are going to use them again when we get ready to move. We had a problem and there customer relations was right on top of it and fixed the problem no questions asked.

Everything turned out the way I expected, I got a AAA discount, and they bought back the unused boxes.
