There was a little confusion with whether or not I had a credit card on file and they didn't show up the first day. When I called to let them know there was a credit card on file, they came out the next day and did an excellent job.

Super fast and friendly service. I was assigned Mr.Rekey by my home warranty company, OneGuard. Technician rekeyed 3 doors and provided 4 new keys in under 30 minutes.

Our home warranty company assigned us this provider. They released existing locks and added (at our request) a keyless (code pad) lock. Problem? The technician installed the code pad incorrectly, so that it would open just by touching a single button on the keypad. When we discovered this, we saw in the instructions REPEATED warnings to install the main bolt vertically--but clearly the technician missed these warnings. We discovered the problem on a Sunday, called and left a message on their "emergency lock problem" voicemail and then never heard back. By midday Monday I called them and spoke to a rep who couldn't find us in the system (even when I gave the invoice number) because they had switched to a new system. He promised to get back to me but didn't. On Tuesday, I called again, and insisted that they send someone out, stressing that our house was essentially unlocked! Finally a service person came out and fixed it, and no cost, but my trust in this provider was gone. Bad installation, bad service.

Dale called ahead and arrived within the scheduled timeframe. He took a look at each door, front door has a keypad which adds difficulty but Dale handled it and had the job complete within 30 minutes.

It went well. Scheduled and they came two days later. He was quick and punctual. I got four new keys. I am actually already scheduled to use them again for other locksmith services this week. So that speaks in how much I trust them to do a good job.

This guy was great, personable was attentive to my specifics and would listen to a story if I had one to tell. All the while working and even showed me how he was doing, what he was doing. He made two small mistakes and I've called for them to come back. I have no doubt they'll take care of business just as professionally. They were also $200.00 -300.00 less than the other number 1 rated Angie's List provider. I am really pleased to carry one key instead of three for each property. Thanks to the young man who did it all.

The job went very smoothly. My firm manages several rental properties in Far North Dallas and Collin County, so I use Mr. Re-Key of Dallas frequently to ensure my properties are up to code and re-keyed for each new tenant move in. After setting up my account (is not required), each time I place an order they contact the tenant (if necessary), schedule the appointment, test/repair/replace battery in all smoke detectors, check to ensure the required locking and safety devices are present, install them if not present, re-key the locks and send me 2 duplicates to my office with the invoice. My dealings with Mr. Re-Key of Dallas has proven to be a model of efficiency. Each person I have had the pleasure of speaking/working with has been a model of professionalism. This is one service company that i enjoy doing business with.

Overall, a pleasant experience. Online, we scheduled a rekey for our locks, but what we actually wanted was the hardware on our front door to be replaced. We had bought the locks and doorknob at Home Depot that fit our door, and when Mr. Rekey arrived, at the appointed time, he took a look at what we wanted and quoted us a fair price. He took about 45 minutes, placed the hardware perfectly and cleaned up. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr. Rekey.

He arrived right on time, was very quick and efficient. He was concentrated on his work and wasn't all social about it - he seemed passionate about locks because any lock-related questions seemed to light up his face and really get him going. One of our locks was a bit old and sticky, and instead of fixing it he gave us a new one for free!

We wanted to rekey as well as replace all of the knobs and deadbolts. I found Mr. Rekey on Angieslist and called. We made an appointment for the next Saturday. The tech guy Larry called me 15 minutes before arrival, and showed up on time. He was professional and personable. We got $99 for rekey and 4 new key special. We also wanted all of the knobs and deadbolts replaced. He could have charged more for installation, but he gave us a break and charged us $40. He was in and out within 40 minutes or so. Very nice guy. We will hire this company again.

We have been having trouble with our door locks on our home and they keep getting jammed and breaking. The tech was very prompt and super friendly. He walked through the house with me, listened to my issues and inspected all the doors and locks. He then gave his recommendations, and repaired what he could then replaced what he needed. He was full of information. He didn't try to upwell me. Just did what needed to be done, nothing more. We will definitely be using them again!
