I am an extremely patient and forgiving person. People and businesses have bad days and I try hard not to form snap judgments. After two or three bad experiences I take my patronage somewhere else. First instance: Three years ago my boss and I purchased a box of shelf hangers. It was heavy so we pulled around to the loading dock for them to place it in our vehicle. The man working in that area was friendly and then told us if we ever needed large quantities come see him first and he would give us anything for $20 per box. We declined to assist him with theft. On the way home I attempted to reach anyone in management by phone to report the issue. No one on the phone would take a message or transfer me. Second instance: It was late on a Friday about 3 months ago and I rushed over to arrive 30 minutes before the posted closing time. The door was locked and two women were standing off behind the counter gathering up some trash bags. I knocked on the door, one turned to look at me and mouthed the words "God, can't you see we are closed.." I pointed to the posted hours and was ignored. Tried to call, but no one answered the phone. Third instance: Today I needed 12 shelves for my full vision display cases. Looked around and didn't see any on display. The person working the counter was busy, so I made a list of other items needed and waited my turn. A different woman wrapped up what she was doing and started to assist me. She looked in the computer to see if any shelves were in stock and informed me they were special order items but that she might have some of the sizes needed. The phone rang and she simply walked away without a word leaving me with my list. I assumed she would put them on hold and return. She started asking questions and taking notes, then looked for things in the computer at her desk. I was ignored for 3 minutes. Decided they no longer needed my money and left without making a purchase. I see no reason to return in the future.
