I had a bad experience. He came out and installed it and there was a chip at the top of the glass and I had my contractor question him. He said that he had the wrong bracket and he came and replaced the bracket as that was going to cover that little chip up. I thought that as long as the chip was covered up, it would be fine. But it didn’t get covered up. The chip was at the top and it was about three-quarters of an inch long. I had paid for brand new non-chipped glass, and when I called him on it, he said that he had covered it up. I told him that he had covered it up with clear silicone and that I could still see it. I told him that it was a brand new shower and I had paid for the brand new glass and I wanted it replaced. He said he would fix it for me and he came out and took it down and ground on it and when he did, he ended up scratching a big gouge in the other side of the glass and then he put it back up. The next time I was over there, when I looked at it, I knew he had not replaced it. I had to get my contractor on this case to get him to replace it. In the end, the silicone work was so bad that I decided to do it myself. It took a long time for him to get out and fix what he had messed up to start with. I wouldn’t use him for anything. At the same time, he had quoted me on some glass that had to go on top of the table just to keep it from being scratched, I was also doing an office building and he quoted me on it and then when he gave me the bill, it was like a $125 more and the bill came after I made him replace the other glass. I think he was just zapping me for the extra time and effort he had put into the other job. I feel if anybody uses him, they should get it in writing and inspect it thoroughly before he leaves. The price was average. For what I got, it was way too much because I had to go back and re-silicone, plus the flange that he put on the door, when the water sprays, it didn’t seep between the tile and the door. The flange he put on was too small; so I ended up having to go and find another glass company and buy some more. I spent another hour just correcting his shoddy work. He was not responsive because I had to call him three times before he would finally take care of it. He was punctual. He showed up when he said he was going to. When I pay for something brand new, I expect it to be brand new and this is a $50,000 bathroom and to have a chipped piece of glass because he didn’t want to have to deal with it, it just didn’t work. I will not use him again.
