The ceiling fan in the bedroom also appeared to be a do-it-yourself installation, and when you turned on the fan, the light would flicker. There was a loose wire, which Metroplex fixed for no extra charge as well.
They asked for an old blanket or sheet to put down on my hardwood floors to protect them during the work. There was quite a bit of plaster that had to be cut out and taken down in order to mount the new light fixture properly. They insisted on cleaning up afterward even though there was little to clean up that wasn't on the sheet. The price was more than fair for the amount of work done.
I'm already planning some additional work for them to do for me.
