McLendon Plumbing L.L.C.

I called McLendon Plumbing to repair a tankless water heater which had been making a very loud foghorn like noise for 10-15 seconds at the beginning of the heating cycle for my shower. It had been doing this intermittently for a couple of months, and of course when Aaron McLendon came it decided not to perform. He diligently tried every trick to replicate the noise to no avail. Upon inspection of the unit in my attic he advised me that it had been improperly installed with a 1/2 inch gas line instead of the manufacturer required 3/4 inch gas line.  Aaron drove to a plumbing supply store, had the proper piece fabricated,and showed me the old piece and the new piece he was installing. It has been 2 weeks and the noise has not returned. An added benefit is that the water now heats up much faster  than previously. Aaron and his apprentice Robert were both very professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions in an intelligent manner. I only wish that I had Mclendon plumbing do the initial installation which would have prevented the problem.
I found Mclendon plumbing listed as a technician on the website of the manufacturer of my water heater, and he obviously is trained and experienced with tankless water heaters.  For anyone wondering if a tankless water heater is worth the money, I have had my unit for 6 years and will never trade it for a standard water heater. The ability to run 2 showers simultaneously with unlimited hot water has promoted family harmony and is by far the best upgrade I have made to my home!
