They are an excellent alternative to the dealers I was using. They are honest and their work is stellar. They have factory trained technicians and the right diagnostic equipment to do the repair right the first time.

Service was excellent as usual. They gave me a ride to and from work. Work was done well and as promised.

Each time I bring in my car they look over everything to ensure that there is no emergent issue. But they do necessary work only, informing the customer of coming problems. They also call to confirm and request permission to do any extra work that needs to be done. They also give excellent referral coupons ($50 off my services for each customer that I refer). This is also my only complaint, though. I have, at times, had several $50 off coupons. Sometimes they let me use them together, sometimes they don't. I wish that the coupons could be used together (in this case my bill was $270 before the $50 coupon, but I had two coupons and they would only let me use one). The coupons also have expiration dates. I wish these referral coupons for existing customers would not have an expiration date. The desk attendant told me she was allowing me to use the one coupon on April 2nd that had expired at the end of March.

Marshall Motors works on later-model German and Japanese cars. I've used them since 1995, and they have maintained an Infiniti G20, a BMW 323i and a BMW 528i. A few years ago they were featured in a Dallas Morning News article on businesses that are perfectionists. Their shop is cleaner than many houses. Their prices are a bit less than a dealer's, and they employ only technicians with college-level training. January Marshall is the business manager and is herself a trained mechanic. Her brother Thom runs the shop. In many cases they will pick up and deliver your car if you live in the area. The work is always done right the first time, and they don't do unnecessary work.
