The services performed included general tree pruning for 3 Chinese Pistache trees, installing a cable/bracing, and deep root fertilization. Derek came to the house and was very polite and personable and gave me a detailed job description with a very reasonable estimate. The job was completed in a professional and timely manner; Derek and his crew did great work and an amazing clean up job before they left. I had a question about the bracing bolts being a bit too long, and the crew came immediately and trimmed them and it looks great. They worked very hard to save a tree my wife desperately wanted to save. As they say, if the wife is happy, I am happy. I am a repeat customer of Lumberjack Tree Service and will definitely use them again. I give them my highest recommendation.

Lumberjack tree service is absolutely the best! I have four very large trees in the front yard and two had branches going over my roof. They did an excellent job trimming them all back and made sure to cut back all branches that were hanging above my house! Cleaned up everything before they left and swept off the sidewalks! Great job!

I don't remember the first time I called Lumberjack--at least 10 years ago, but the first time I did they did a superb job. Everyone is friendly, courteous, prompt and they do a super job cleaning up, and their pricing is very competitive. I call on them every 2-3 years, and I have never been disappointed with their work. I have highly recommended them to several friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. I highly recommend them to you, too.

Derek and his team did an amazing job for us. A large oak tree fell in our front yard due to heavy winds. Derek and team coordinated the clean up and left our yard looking great given the circumstances. We would definitely use them again!

Derek and his crew did an excellent job of getting my 50' live oak trimmed up. It took a real beating in the snow/ice storm of February 2021. Many dead limbs needed to be removed and the whole tree needed to be reshaped. Derek was also able to inject some nutrients directly into the tree to give it a head start on recovery in the spring. Great job!

I asked Angie's list for companies in my area that can check my palm tree to see if it survived our winter storm. I have had my palm 17 years and really wanted it to make it. The lady that called me from Lumberjack Tree Service was very professional and so nice. The owner came out that day to make an estimate and was very reasonable. I had other trees I needed trimmed and prunned. The guys came out when I was told and did a great job and cleaned up all the mess. It was made very easy for me. I recommend this company and will be calling them for other landscaping jobs.

It’s always a good feeling when you know that some one is honest about what they need to do and then they do it. This was my experience. From a recommendation I saw last year on the West Allen FB group, I called Derek, owner of Lumberjack Tree Service, to get an estimate to prune/clean/thin all trees in the front yard and trim/shape a tree in the back yard. He explained in detail what each tree needed and gave a very competitive quote. His crew completed all the work and clean-up in under an hour and Derek gave me a follow-up call shortly after to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. Definitely recommend giving these guys a call if you need any tree work done in your yard.

We are very happy with the job Lumberjack Tree Service did trimming our 2 large live oak trees, that were hanging over the street, roof, and the neighbor’s yard. They were professional and thorough. The owner is an arborist and is very knowledgeable about pruning live oaks correctly, and took great care of our trees. When they were done they cleaned up completely and hauled away the trimmings. The trees look wonderful! I would definitely use Lumberjack again, and recommend them to anyone.

I called three different tree services; I chose Lumberjack because their price was the best, and they were insured and bonded. A neighbor had a tragic tree incident with an unbonded and uninsured service - it cost him over $100K. Lumberjack showed up on time, introduced themselves, and went to work. The tree had to fall onto the street - and the crew worked quickly and efficiently to avoid hindering neighborhood traffic. I couldn't have been more pleased with the cosmetic results - the results were beautiful. They cleaned up everything - they even picked up the sticks. FYI: The owner is a Marine Corps veteran and entirely professional. He and his crew got the job done right!
