Sharolyn and her crew were very professional. They were always on time, worked very hard. It took only 4 days to tear out and haul off old landscaping, prep the beds, plant and mulch. The best of all was that the front yard looked wonderful, nice size trees, shrubs and plants, so it did not look so "new". We would highly recommend LoneStar!

Sharolyn was very responsive and kept me updated on our appointment until she arrived.  We just had some simple grade work done for our foundation and while others couldn't be bothered with the small job.

We have a very very large yard with lots and lots of shrubs that need to be trimmed.  We had one individual that was doing an okay job trying to keep up with it, but was a little overwhelmed and was having a hard time keeping up.  We liked him a lot, but decided to try to find a company with maybe 3-4 guys who could come in and tackle the yard with a little less stress and knock it out in less time, and still do a great job!  So, I searched on Angie's List and found Lone Star Landscapes, then called Sharolyn.  She came out to take a look at the yard - I was totally impressed with her knowledge, her comments, her interest!!!  I liked her a lot!!!!  She wanted the job and I trusted her!!!  So, I let her have the contract!!!  Three guys showed up the next week and began working.  I went out there and introduced myself to the guy that seemed to be in charge, walked around with him and pointed out things that I expected to be done, and let them get back to work.  They trimmed some of the important bushes in the front of the yard, mowed, trimmed, and then left.  I thought they were going to trim all the shrubs and was disappointed.  The second week they came and did the normal mowing, trimming, and trimmed a few more shrubs and left again.  I was disappointing again.  I was beginning to think that the one individual I had to begin with was able to do what these three guys were doing - what the heck!  Then about that time for some reason, one afternoon Sharolyn showed up with one of the guys and while the guy spent several hours doing nothing but trimming ALL the shrubs, she walked around pulling weeds, trimming this and that, blowing off the patio/other, pulling off vines, just working hard taking care of other things that needed taking care of (I was impressed)!!  I was getting ready to run an errand, but before I left I went outside to talk with her and she sorely apologized that things weren't taken care of as she promised they would be, and assured me going forward things would be much better!  As I write this review, yes, all is well with the world!!!!  My lawn is being taken care of the way I anticipated - thanks to Sharolyn!!  Also, I had some problems with some unhealthy looking shrubs in the back, her guys alerted her and she notified me - I appreciated that!!  That's the kind of service I expect!  Sharolyn is sooooo knowledgeable - you will absolutely love her!!!  I can hardly wait to start talking about planting annual flowers!  I feel I made the absolute right decision in choosing Lone Star Landscapes for our lawn service needs!!!

We had a follow up with them and they sent someone out immediately. They did a wonderful job. They were great to work with.

They keep the yard nice. If they are not going to make it on their day, they let us know. We will continue to use them.
