The lid on our filter pot would not open and broke when we tried using a mallet to force it open. Lock's responded to our call on a Sunday evening. He remembered working on our pool 3 years ago and arrived bright and early on Tuesday morning with a replacement part. Great service!

Ken is reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. We discuss our latest problem with him and then leave the gate open when we know he's coming. He fixes the problem always, and sometimes identifies issues that may become problems. Ken is not the cheapest in town, but he is well worth it.

We had a lot of gunk in our pool so we decided the filters needed some attention. He could not give us an exact date but he said he would be out by Monday and he came on Saturday, 2 days earlier. He cleaned out the filters and also showed me how the filter towers were tearing away from the structure and they neeed replacing, so he he will be out later to replace those. He also showed me how to lubricate another piece on the system and even left me a tube of the lubrication. He is a nice guy, does a good job and really seems to know the workings of a pool.....

I called Mr. Lock on a Friday morning. He came by that afternoon and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and have repairs completed by the next day. He obviously is an expert on pool equipment and I appreciated that he was willing to come out on a Saturday afternoon to finish the job.

He is excellent – he is just a pool expert. He is extremely thorough, always punctual and tries to take care of the things as quickly as possible. I just cannot say enough good things about him. He is not the cheapest around, but his quality of service is excellent.

Ken came out to the house right on time. He inspected the entire filtration system before starting any repairs. He then took apart the backflow valve/plunger and lubricated it (gave me the tube of lubricant) and performed a backflow on the system. He also asked, and installed after I gave the OK, if I wanted him to install skimmer weir flaps, which work great. He also stayed awhile and explained the entire workings of the filtration and heater systems (this is my first pool) and the proper usage of chemicals. The next day I had a small, unrelated problem with the pool which he diagnosed and provided the fix for over the phone. Ken provides great service and is very knowledgeable. Will not hesitate to use him again!

Mr. Lock was on time and thorough with his explanations about pool operation. He showed my husband and I how to backwash, lube some o-rings and explained how to test for and maintain the chemistry. He told us how often to run the polaris, the main pump system and how often to brush down the sides. Mr. Lock also supplied us with a new (and better) water testing kit. He was professional and seemed to really know his trade. Our pump is almost 30-years-old but he was intimately familiar with its workings. The whole process took about 1.5hrs. I will definitely hire him in the future.

Ken responded to our call promptly and showed up right on time for our scheduled appointment. He spent one hour with us going over each system component and replaced some minor parts while he was there. He also provided a detailed list of necessary vs elective upgrades. We have had 3 other pool companies on site and Ken was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful.

Overall this project went very well. Ken (the owner) was very responsive and was able to fix my problem quickly. He did need to come back as one of the leaks was not fixed and he did so for no charge. After a few days of completing the job he called ME to follow up. Class act from start to finish.

Had a great experience with Ken once again. He spent a great deal of time trying to diagnose the problem with our existing heater and actually replaced two parts to try to keep it alive for a few more years. Despite these efforts Ken found a fatal flaw in the current heater after installing the new parts. Ken spent quite some time coming to his conclusion, but ultimately only charged us for two hours of his time. On top of this he took back the parts he'd ordered on our behalf. He then selected the new heater for us and installed it. Ken is the only person I would trust for major pool equip repairs. He actually gives seminars to other pool pros, so he's as knowledgeable as they come. Would highly recommend to anyone needing advanced pool help.

Ken Lock is the owner of this company, and is the one who came out to do this work. He is a pleasant man and did a great job. He also took a lot of time teaching me how to operate and clean both the pool and the spa to save me future problems. I am very happy with the work performed and would highly recommend him. His prices are a bit higher than some others, but he is well worth the cost.

The water was not circulating in our pool at all and when we called Lock's Pool Service, we thought we needed a new pump. They saved us a ton of money by being able to do the repair instead and easily could have said we needed the pump after all. The gentleman even took a lot of time teaching me how to properly turn on the valves to the filter and other general pool maintenance information. I highly recommend these honest people.

Ken was awesome. I have never owned a pool before. He answered every question I had about my pool. I thought some of my questions might be dumb and he assured me the only dumb question is the one that is not asked. I had a previous experience with a pool company that was less than desirable. I felt that Ken genuinely cared about his work and would continue answering questions until I was satisfied. BTW, he did not charge me for answering questions. He also volunteered many pointers that would help me avoid problems. And, he gave me a cup so I could measure my DE after backwashing the pool. And, he gave me a tube of lubricant for a gasket. Anytime I need pool service in the future I am calling him.

It is obvious that Mr. Lock is very experienced and knowledgeable about pool chemistry and equipment. He listens carefully, and asks direct questions that tell you that he knows what he's talking about. He is very generous with his time and explanations for how to care and maintain the pool and equipment. He furnished free printed guides that were far better than others that I have purchased.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a repair person. I have never owned a pool before. Ken not only did an excellent job of cleaning the filter he also answered numerous questions I had about operating a pool. I had hired other companies to educate me about pool operations and they could not compare to what Ken gave me for free. He arrived on time and was very professional and patiently answering my questions. He also check to make sure I understood what he was saying. I wish there were a rating above A that I could give him. He is superb.
