Leave It 2 Us Moving

I have 20 plus years in the moving and storage business and have personally moved across country twice, in addition to multiple local moves over the years.  This company is a contractor for Starving Students who apparently does not have their own movers in the DFW area, even though they claim they do.   Mr. Blocker was approximately five (5) hours late due to a flat tire.  When he arrived he had two young men with him, as his two-man crew.  In my experience, the driver is one of the two-men crew and supervises every aspect of the move personally.  The young men were turned loose on my move and it became apparent that they must be day labor with very limited experience in properly handling of household goods.  Mr. Blocker disappeared during most of the move and I did all the directing and supervising to keep the boys working.  
They took a lot of rests out around the truck and my move, which I estimated from previous experience to be about 3 hours total, ran right at 4 hours including the ten-minute drive between homes.  Everytime I showed up out at the truck, they seemed to get he hint to get back to work.  It was not a hot day requiring a lot of breaks.  
Mr. Blocker looked at a broken piece and told me they won't accept a claim on furniture made out of prestboard wood.  That pretty much takes in every piece of furniture made today.  
Overall the move was the most sloppy and poorly handled I have seen and will never use this mover or his contract company again.
