LANCO CONSTRUCTION

I found Rob Lanier on Craigslist. He is a very likable person and he is a very skilled craftsman, but his time management skills and the skills of his workers leave a lot to be desired. My job was supposed to be a maximum of two weeks. We had to move out of the house because it was the only bathroom. The bathroom was rushed to completion without Rob's supervision and many mistakes were made. The shower was tiled without being floated properly and they forgot to put the recess in the wall as discussed. They put a recess in the wall after the fact, but it looked awful. The painting was not textured and the painters painted over the new, expensive hardware and fixtures. The carpenter that Rob used, Tommy, was great, but the rest of his crew was more of a liability than an asset. After just a couple of days after accepting my job, Rob moved on to larger, more lucrative opportunities. After three months of an incomplete bathroom and many empty promises, I had to let Rob go.
