Outstanding.  Kenneth arrived on time, explained the work required and provided an accurate estimate.  The work was completed quickly and professionally.  Kenneth then fully explained the alarm system operation and provided his contact information should I have any questions in the future.

Although Kenneth is located in the Dallas area, he drove to Houston to personally install the system. He is extremely patient and knowledgeable. The installation looks professional and first-class. As a previous ADT customer for decades, this experience was a surprise - personal and immediate response, quality equipment that is owned and not rented and an overall standard of service that is second to none. Lakewood is monitoring the system as well. The pricing is more reasonable than I have ever seen.

Lakewood Alarm has been great from initial phone call throughout project.  Kenneth has been the primary contact and was instrumental in consulting on the right home security system for our home.    We are completing a remodel and had the opportunity to consider a hard wired system.  My criteria was to find a local company that provides product, installation, service, and monitoring.  Too many issues with DIY systems or National monitoring services.  Lakewood was chosen after speaking with three additional providers.   Kenneth is patient, comprehensive, professional, and very knowledgeable.   I never felt pressured or pushed in any direction.   Jacob, one of their technicians, was also patient, insightful, and provided great service.  My decision came down to Lakewood Alarm and one other company--both were priced competitively for our application.  My concerns were heard and Kenneth provided me with the options that were most efficient and effective for our application and I have piece of mind knowing our home is protected both adequately and comprehensively.  I would recommend contacting Lakewood Alarm if you are in the market for anything security related to your home or business.

Our battery was dying and therefore was chirping at 2.00 am. Kenneth came out to replace it and at the same time explain the different alarm codes.

We wanted to upgrade to newer technologies, and Lakewood Alarm was by far the friendliest of the alarm companies we contacted.  Most didn't seem interested in the business.
Lakewood Alarm's hardware upgrade was several hundred dollars less than another quote for the exact same hardware.  And the monthly monitoring rate beat the others as well.
Installation was professional and friendly, and in the months since then our periodic requests for code changes have been responded to promptly.

Kenneth showed up on time & worked tirelessly until the alarm was properly installed & working, & the remote "total connect" feature had been activated. He is incredibly professional, polite, personable & positive. I felt very comfortable having him in my home. Kenneth is incredibly knowledgable, & was able to quickly & effectively train me on our new system. I felt very confident in my ability to operate the alarm when he left. Kenneth has since followed up to make sure everything is working properly & that we didn't have any additional questions. You can get comparable systems & prices from a variety of different companies in Dallas, but I highly doubt that any other operator comes close to the level of service provided by Lakewood Alarm.

 I wanted an alarm system that was user friendly, and could be remotely armed or disarmed using my smart phone. Called Lakewood Alarm and spoke with Kenneth regarding our needs. He set up a personal meeting with me in my home. He was extremely friendly and professional. Kenneth made extra recommendations that accommodated our large dog and explained the total connect system.

Kenneth arrived on time for the initial consultation.  I described the problems with my non functioning, 20 year old security system.  He looked at everything, told me what would need to be done, gave me a quote, and we set up a date to do the repairs/install.  He arrived on time for the install with all the necessary equipment.  He did the repairs and installed the new parts of the system.  Kenneth did the entire set up with the monitoring company.  He did a great job getting my old system up and running like new with new technology.  I really like that I was working with only one person, he was thorough and knowledgeable.  All my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable with my new, updated system when he left.  This was the only company that offered all that I wanted.  I wanted to use as much of my old system as possible, add wireless sensors where needed (as many as I wanted), have personal service (not someone over the phone), and a monitoring company that has smart phone access without having to sign a three year agreement.  Also, Lakewood Alarm does NOT install a proprietary system!  If at some point I become unhappy with their service, I can change to another monitoring company.  The price for the install was reasonable.  The monthly monitoring fee is great!   I felt that Kenneth was very professional and helpful!  I would recommend Lakewood Alarm.

They are prompt, courteous and Kenneth was very helpful. Also they offer great prices, which are comparable to most.

Kenneth arrived on time, Did a inspection of the old alarm, and began working. The process was quick ans easy and i didn't have to upgrade to a new alarm system. Overall wonderful experiance, we are now being monitored 24/7 with his company.

Kenneth was professional from the first phone call, and was able to schedule an installation appointment promptly (whereas some competitors quoted 2-3 week backlogs). Kenneth was punctual and very professional. He was informative about the system and walked me through all of the mechanics and codes. I would feel comfortable leaving my girlfriend at home to meet Kenneth and know that my dog loved him (apparently all animals love Kenneth). He was able to perform the work relatively quickly and within his estimated timeline. I have not had any issues with the service since it was installed, and I appreciate Lakewood's great customer service. In fact, when I recently received my quarterly bill I was able to call Kenneth directly and he handled it for me over the phone. That is great service! I would highly recommend working with Lakewood Alarm if you want a professional, hands on, customer-service oriented experience.y,

The service was very good. Kenneth evaluated our existing security system and only updgraded those parts which were necessary. Overall the service is cheaper than most competitors and one year contracts are offered. It was much appreciated that he was honest with regards to the items which needed replacing. Definately worth while considering, compared to some of the big firms!!

Everything went wonderful.

Our home was constructed in the 1950's and never had an alarm system. We contacted several alarm companies and had them all present installation proposals. After talking with Kenneth, we knew that Lakewood Alarm was the company we wanted to use (even though we had one cheaper bid). Kenneth was very knowledgeable, easy to talk with and patiently answered all our questions. the alarm installation went smoothly and the alarm system has worked properly since installation. We are very pleased with Kenneth and Lakewood Alarm. We also like the fact that they use a monitoring service that is local and not in Florida or somewhere out of state.

I was very pleased with the man that came out.  He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He was all-around good.  I am continuing their service.

I called Kenneth and he walked me through the process over the phone.  Told me about ADT having the proprietary  circuit board ( I already knew this but appreciated the explanation).  Gave me a price over the phone and based on different scenarios and we set up a time for him to come out.  Kenneth was running a few minutes late because of the big rain storm but called to let me know when he would get here.
Everything went as planned.  He changed the circuit board, added a sensor to the garage, made a list of all of the zones and them walked me through how the system works.

After calling several alarm companies for a new system quote, we decided to go with Lakewood Alarm. Kenneth did a great job explaining everything beforehand and installing our system.  We have been very happy with our new system and have referred Lakewood to two other friends. They are also very pleased with Lakewood. We will definitely use again in the future and refer to more people.

I spoke with Kenneth over the phone and he gave me a list of information that he would need in order to determine if the existing system in a house that we had just bought would be able to be re-used.  After giving him the information that he requested, he determined that it was likely that the system would be re-usable in the way that I wanted (no hardwired phone line....wireless phone only) as long as the existing system did not lock him out.  We also had an existing cellular alarm communicator on the system, and he had said that there was a possibility that it could be reused too.  On the date that we scheduled for him to arrive at the house to look at our existing system, Kenneth arrived as planned.  He determined that he was not locked out of the alarm system (which meant that we could reuse the existing hardware), but that the existing cellular alarm communicator couldn't be used since the original owner still had it operating under a contract with another company.  He installed a new cellular alarm communicator so that now we don't need a phone line at the house just for the alarm system since we use our cell phones for normal phone service.  Kenneth was very knowledgeable about the existing system, he worked quickly and was kind enough to explain everything to me as he worked.  He cleaned up after himself and left the house in fine condition. He happily answered all of my goofy questions in a way that was understandable and helpful.  He seemed very conscientious and professional.  His ability to reuse the existing system in the house saved me money.  I believe that Kenneth was honest and detail oriented and would gladly recommend to anyone thinking of putting a security system in their house, and his company Lakewood Alarm's monitoring agreement seemed very reasonable and affordable.
