Johannesen Construction

Peter Johannesen bids low, wins jobs, then goes and hires unsuspecting sub contractors who he does not give the whole scope of work too. He finds a contractor that bids the job low enough that he could actually make money legally, but until now, I guess it was more lucrative to not pay the subs, collect the deposits and high tail it out of site... Fortunately things began to show themselves before we were out more money than we already were... There now is a judgment against Peter Johannesen/Lone Star Contracting.. I warn anyone to please research the owners NAME not just the company name.

He stole our $13,000. He has been doing this to a lot of people. He keep changing his company name so that people do not get to find about. We went with his advice for the tiles and now we cannot get them replaced because they are all scratched up. He did not even finish the job. He gave us a price before the job that it was going to be this much, but when he had the floor down, he said it is going to another $500 for the floorboards and some other thing. We have given him $13,000 already and he was just wanting more money in general. He then disappeared. He finally came back after two weeks. We then did some research and we found all those people that he had scammed, so we started getting worried and we actually had to hire a lawyer to send him a demand letter to ask to have our money back, we did not get it.
