I contacted KJ&M Glass Work to discuss replacing a bedroom window. The contact was made after hours and I received a response immediately. The quote was made after looking at the job. I am happy to report that the window glass was replaced and I’m definitely pleased with the work. Thanks Miguel for an excellent job. I will recommend this company without hesitation.

The estimate and the overall visit was excellent. My project will not be scheduled until after the first of the year.

It went Very well

Great. A supervisor came to our house to see exactly what we wanted and to draw up the order. The glass was ready exactly as promised, and the installation was completed in less than one day. The crew (whom we had worked with in the past) arrived on time, did everything perfectly and cleaned up after the work was done. We love the new glass. It makes a big difference in reducing the heat in our home.

Two of 20 front exposure windows are not a standard shape window - not even when combining two standard shapes, which is what most "custom-shape" vendors do. J & M Website stated they did special custom shapes - that they excelled at it. When I called the company, the secretary put me on hold to check with the owner. I sent pics. They responded that they could not make the special-shaped windows. I posted that their website was misleading. The owner sent a message to contact him that they did do special shapes - hmm I thought she asked the owner - said his name was Martin. At that time I was working with three other vendors, so to be fair to Martin, I didn't call again. Alas, those vendors have not panned out either - seems fabricating custom shapes is not worth the trouble or involves a skill set and product that existed in 2000 but is a not easily found in 2016.

WOW, what an incredible difference having great new Thermal Windows from J&M Glass Company installed in our home has made to its look and energy efficiency! 

When we purchased our current home, it still had the 51 original 32 year old bronze colored aluminum windows.  Of the 51 windows, 8 were large panel atrium windows 4 of which matched the roofline, which is now the ?wow factor? of our home.  Where other companies were not willing or capable of manufacturing or replacing the atrium, J&M was.  They manufactured all of our custom vinyl thermal replacement windows and all new atrium window aluminum framing to match. 

Our experience with J&M Glass was outstanding from start to finish!  Throughout the process from ordering, scheduling and installation they did a great job communicating with us.  Martin, the company owner even took the time to be onsite during installation to ensure we were happy and everything went smoothly. 

I can?t begin to describe the visual impact these windows have made to our home. It is truly amazing!  Honestly, we can?t stop looking at them and admiring the change they?ve made.  In addition, we?ve already seen a 40% reduction in our daily electric consumption!   This was the most dramatic , energy efficient and visually pleasing improvement we have made to our home?what a difference!

After obtaining bids from other window contractors, Thermal Windows clearly provided the highest quality at a reasonable price. They listen to their customers to provide the absolute best options custom made to their needs and desires. They were professional, timely, and efficient from the initial appointment to the final installation. My home has a new updated look and I've already had positive comments from the neighbors. The house is amazingly quieter and cooler. I've invested a lot of money in my home but this was by far the best investment I've made. Thank you Thermal Windows for a job well done!

May 2015.  Buyer Beware and do your due diligence before using  J&M Glass Company (Thermal Windows).  We contracted with J&M for replacing five casement windows and a large sliding glass door.  There were three major issues that we encountered with J&M that others should be aware of before deciding to use this company. 1) The LowE glass used is highly reflective at night (no matter how we changed our lighting) and you cannot see out of the glass. Best way to describe is that you are looking at a blue/green two-way mirror. The contract I signed said “clear” and I didn’t ask for a sample ahead of time so don’t assume “clear” means clear. Lastly, one the glass one piece in the windows did not match the others.  2) The install was not completed in a professional manner and had to be re-installed. During the first installation they left the old window hardware which should have been removed. The door also had to be re-installed for a nicer look. After the second installation the windows were not tested by the installers and the opening mechanism did not properly function.  I gave up and cut my loses, wrote a check and told them not to come back out.  3) J&M is only concerned about making a dollar and not making their customers happy.  I talked repeatedly via phone and email to Martin Gates, the president of the company, where the conversations went from attempting to fix the situation to threatening legal action against me if I didn’t pay.  I asked Martin on several occasions to inspect the work his company did but he refused.  The company was not concerned about the quality of work or happiness of their customers.  I have had other companies in the Dallas area as we are getting these windows and door replaced.  The other companies were shocked by the lack of quality on the install and the reflective glass used on a residential property.  I since have contracted with another company who brought out samples, referred me to a previous job site to inspect the quality of work and product before moving forward.  There are much better places that offer quality work for the same price as J&M.  Please do your research before deciding to use the company.

They were awesome!  The windows are beautiful and exactly what we were wanting.  They installation was done and the house was left clean.  They were very professional and spent the time with us we needed to answer any questions or concerns.

I needed to replace three patio doors and one sliding window. I got

quotes from three highly recommended companies and all the quotes

were competitive. I decided on J&M Glass Company primarily,

because it is a family owned company that provides both manufacturing

and sales. Because this company has been in business since 1992,

this combination provided me confidence that they would stand behind

their product and its installation.

The work began with the removal of all the blinds, and the installation

was completed in two days by Rubin and Jose, who worked quickly and

professionally with minimum down time. They did an excellent job of

installing the patio doors and sliding window. They finished by

replacing the blinds and cleaning up both inside and outside and, for

these activities, it looked as if they had never been there.

All transactions with J&M Glass Company were done professionally.

I highly recommend doing business with J&M Glass Company.
