It was a pleasant experience because they did a good job. They stayed at the job site until it was done, and then they left at the end of the day. They did an excellent job of moving the piano. I had no problems. When they put it back, they put it back exactly where I wanted it. I would recommend them.

I picked Jack because of his excellent ratings on Angie's list and am so glad I did! I emailed Jack and he responded within a couple hours, we agreed upon the rate and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. Jack called on his way to let me know he was on the way and showed up right on time. Jack and his helper were both professional, and conscientious and I fully trusted them in our home and to do a good job. They moved the piano and set it up in our new home and we couldn't be happier about the experience. I definitely recommend him! 

Jack was super responsive, reliable, and on-time.  We (the wife) bought a piano from someone who was moving.  I went to pay for it and to see if I could move it myself.  Quickly realized that was not going to end well.  I looked around on Angies and found Jack Whitby.

I emailed Jack and he wanted the details of the piano and he gave me a quote right then.  I texted the seller, told her Jack would be contacting her to coordinate the pickup.

Everything, I mean everything went smooth beyond expectations.

Now my wife is stuck at home with a 5 year old, a 2 year old, and a piano.  LOL.  

I highly recommend Jack Whitby.

Excellent. The two guys arrived on time, loaded the piano onto their truck, and met me at the new place. They brought the piano inside, paying attention to floors, walls, and spacing. They placed coasters underneath the piano for me to protect the floor. They were overall very jovial, fun guys, and I appreciated their excellent, timely service.

After checking out the company with the Better Business Bureau and other sites, and noting that this business has been around for 50 years, I made the call to Jack Whitby Piano on 8/5/15 to have the piano moved on 8/7/15 (since it had to be done within a short time frame). Jack arranged his schedule to accommodate ours. On the date of the move, Jack and his helper arrived in Grapevine on time (even with bad traffic) and quickly moved the piano and bench into their large trailer and secured both. I took the long way to Rowlett (to avoid the tollroad) and they beat me there (as they took the smoother tollway). They quickly moved the piano and bench into their new home and centered them at the wall. It was all done in about 90 minutes or so. I was glad that we did not try to move the piano ourselves, as we probably would have damaged it some in our small pickup truck. Both men were very friendly and courteous. One could tell that they really cared. It was a pleasure doing business with Jack Whitby Piano!!

when doing some research about pianos I was hesitant to believe that he could offer me a nice piano at an affordable price. It took me several months to take the leap and make an appointment with Jack Whitby. I'm glad I did because we now own a beautiful piano. He is friendly and not pushy at all. I ended up buying a piano the same day and don't feel any regrets. He was very nice to deliver it the same day on Thanksgiving weekend! I have not tuned my piano yet because Jack recommended that I wait 1 month. Everything is great so far and I am happy with my purchase.
