We went to the Import Stone distribution center where we met Sherrie and she showed us the slabs that were within our budget. She held up the backsplash tile against each slab until we found the perfect one. Import Stone worked with our installer, HDS, to transport the slab to the HDS facility where it was cut and polished and then installed by them. We paid HDS, not Import Stone. The cost of the project on this report was $32 per square foot for the purchase, cutting, polishing and installation of the granite countertops. The undermounted stainless steel sink was additional.
Description of Work: Sherrie at Import Stone helped me to pick out the most beautiful countertops for my new kitchen. She used the tile that we chose for the backsplash along with a drawer from the cabinets to find the most amazing piece of granite that really brings out the beauty of all of the objects in the kitchen. She also recommended colors for paint to go along with everything. Also, the granite she helped us find was within our budget. I love my new countertops!
