Jack was very courteous and professional throughout the entire project. We also provided Jack with measurements of the new equipment we needed the unit to accommodate. Jack developed a design we liked, set about removing the top-half of the existing entertainment center unit and made markings on the wall for the new unit dimensions. Jack built the unit pieces at his shop and installed them with an assistant. Once in place, he asked for our opinion before completing the trim work. As a pleasant surprise, Jack retained the crown molding piece from the previous unit and added it to the top of the new unit. Although the new top-half already blended well with the old bottom, this touch really made the new piece appear to match the rest of the room (which has the same molding). Jack cleaned up after himself and has followed-up with us about the work. Jack even came in slightly under the original estimate. Once painted, it looks a great match. We're very pleased.
Description of Work: We have a built-in entertainment system in our home that had too small a space for electronics upgrades (no more than a 27" television for example). Jack removed the top half of the built-in entertainment center and replaced it with a new unit that would work with a larger television and also provided greater storage/display capability than the previous piece.

Jack did a very good job. He was attentive to the details and careful around the house. Everything looked very good when complete.
Description of Work: Jack installed 20 prehung doors and trimmed out all of the doors.

Jack is a pleasure to work with. He is very prompt about returning phone calls. He is very reasonable, and does a great job!!!
Description of Work: Jack installed 3 shelves in my pantry, removed shelf paper, did painting and caulking...and anything I needed done!!

THERE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF A MESS UP, HE GOT OFF THE TRIM AND NOW THE REST NEEDS TO BE PAINTED, THOUGH HE WAS CONSCIENTIOUS.
Description of Work: HE PAINTED AND REPAIRED THE TRIM ON A SECOND STORY WINDOW, HE ALSO DID SOME MINOR REPAIRS INSIDE THE HOME.

JACK IS ALSO A MUSICIAN. YOU MAY NEED TO GO TO ONE OF THE APPEARANCES OF HIS BAND. WE ENJOYED THAT TOO!
Description of Work: JACK ACTED AS A WORKING (CARPENTRY PART) GENERAL CONTRACTOR ON A GENERAL REPAIR AND REMODELING PROJECT RECENTLY COMPLETED, WHICH INCLUDED SOFFIT REPAIR, CEILING REPLACEMENT, PAINTING SKYLIGHT INSTALLATION, PLUMBING IMPROVEMENTS, KITCHEN ISLAND AND CABINET BUILDING AND MODIFICATION. PRIOR WORK, ABOUT IN 2001, JACK INSTALLED A PAVESTONE WALK AROUND OUR HOUSE FOR $5,000. WE WERE PLEASED WITH HIS WORK ON BOTH OCCASIONS.
