Home Appliances - Rodrigo Silva

Initially, I had very high hopes. They were very responsive about setting up the delivery date. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. First, the washer and dryer were delivered without the stacking unit. The delivery team left them sitting on the floor in the living room. We called after two days passed without any call. We were concerned because our furniture was on the way from the movers. Finally, they came and installed the washer and dryer without the stacking unit. A few days later, they returned with the stacking unit and installed it. Unfortunately, this is when the real trouble began! Our apartment complex alerted us that water was leaking from somewhere in our apartment. We never imagined it would be our washer since it was professionally installed. However, the repairman from our complex determined it was the washer...it was installed improperly. He fixed the problem, but the damage to our apartment and the one below was done. The cost of the damage and missed revenue from the apartment below added up to over $500. We provided the apartment with the owner's name, and they spend weeks attempting to call and email Rodrigo Silva, the owner. Time after time, their calls were ignored. It's now March and we've still not been able to get this resolved. We believe Home Appliances and Rodrigo Silva should pay for the damage they caused to the complex, and so far that's not happened. On another note, our washer still doesn't work correctly. We mentioned the latest problem to one of the repair folks from Home Appliances, but now we are being ignored.
