Harvery's was great. They were very professional and finished the work on time. Had to replace the front and reap bumpers, repair the lift gate, and get a new trailer hitch on my 4-Runner as the result of an auto 4-car accident of which i was sandwiched in the middle. Cody was great working with me and kept me up to date on the status of the car. My 4-Runner looked great after getting it back and couldn't tell anything had happened. Also spend some time talking to the new owner who is updating and expanding the shop. I would go back to Harvey's for any auto body work if needed.

When I traded in my car the dealer had no idea that it was ever, ever anything. It was a minor deal it wasn't much, but it's one of those things with the car that he made look brand new.

I didn't have to pay anything it was covered under the insurance. I would go back to them in a heartbeat, they're very, very good. I mean they do quality work. Things that they go above and beyond is Basically, I would say the blending of the paint is where the real art work is, the blending of the paint. They're very accommodating and just high-quality work. I had them do work in the past where when I traded my vehicle the dealer had no idea it was ever and it wasn't a wreck, but the dealer had no idea. They really made the car look like it never happened. I've been going to him for dates now for a lot of stuff. They're very reasonable price and I won't even go to anyone else.

Absolutely the best body shop in Dallas.  I have been to many body shops in Dallas lived here all my life and Harvey's is tops. Independently owned been around for years. Remember in Texas you have the right to choose the shop you want to have your car repaired at no matter what your insurance company tries to tell you. These are very honest, fair, stand up people not like a lot of well know Dallas shops that charge for things you don't need and give you cheap replacement parts not original equipment.  Why not get high quality and personal attention and they all cost the same if you go to a giant shop or a little one. But the Quality, Service and Care you get are very different. You may have to wait a while for your car but its worth it if you care about your car being done the way it should be.  I have had a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire Convertible since it was new and it's like my child, I don't just let anyone touch it!

I had front and rear damage due to a car accident. Harvey's helped me work through some of the issues dealing with insurance. I was able to drop off my car at my convenience. It was ready earlier than I expected. They did great work on my '05 RAV. It looked like new. John, the proprietor, made the whole process run smoothly without any hassles. And, considering all the damage, the work was done for a great price.

I contacted Mike Harvey and asked him for a quote to paint and attach my spoiler on my Mercedes (the previous owner had tried to make it look like non-AMG model and removed it and debadged). He gave me good quote so I brought the spoiler to them. Their shop is in a rough neighborhood, but you feel very safe as they are very professional and friendly. They painted the spoiler and called me when they promised to. I came in and they attached it for me and even rebadged my car for me (at no charge). Their work looks fantastic and there were no games. Great people, honest and trustworthy. John's family has owned the place for something like 70 years so you can see why they are that way. Would definitely use them again.

Someone backed into my Hyundai in a local retail parking lot, without leaving so much as a note or waiting around to exchange insurance information. And as I already had two claims against my insurance, I started shopping around to see how much this job would cost versus my deductible.
Mike at Harvey's talked to me over the phone, giving me best (cover could be patched and painted) case and worst (replacing the cover) case scenarios. But invited me to the shop so the could give me a precise estimate.
The bumper cover had been cracked, but if there was one silver lining in this whole ordeal, it was that neither the sheet metal or the tail light were damaged. Cracks in a plastic bumper cover can't be repaired, so I was quoted a price for a new cover, painted to match the color of the car, and installed. It was a Monday morning, and since I had gotten to the shop around 8:30am, they were able to order the part needed for delivery later that same day.
Also, Harvey's is located on a DART bus line, making easy connections to the rest of the DART system so that I could get myself home.
It wasn't until Tuesday morning, that I realized I had totally forgotten about asking to see if the small door ding on my drivers side rear door could be address while my car was in the shop. Harvey's subcontracts with a vendor to do such work, and he was able to address it that afternoon, and my car was ready by 2:00pm.
Imagine...dropping your car off on a Monday morning for a new bumper cover and being able to pick it up the following Tuesday afternoon. And the work done is indistinguishable from how the car looked when new.

"Thank you too, [member name removed], for giving us a shot at your business. We appreciate it immensely. Working with you was an absolute pleasure. PS: I think we forgot to tell you that your repairs (IE: Paint) are guaranteed for life. And your part has the OE factory warranty as well. - Mike"

I contacted the shop via e-mail about bringing my car in for a estimate. The owner of the company John Harvey replied in a short time to bring the car in at my convenience. I brought car in and he looked over the vehicle and gave me a computerized printout of the estimate. The next week I took my car in to the shop. I was told approximately 3 weeks to complete the job. Throughout the process John kept me updated and was always available for communications. I went on August 26th to pick up the vehicle and it looked just like new. Everything looked great and actually better than new. I am very pleased with the outcome of the vehicle and would highly recommend this company to anybody that needs some body work or paint done on their vehicle.

I had better service with Harveys than the preferred dealer I also met with.   I just had to drop off my car. The State Farm ins. representative came promptly to the shop to the evaluate my car which was handled by Harveys.   Enterprise picked me up at Harveys and I also received a prearranged discount for the rental.  They communicated with me at every step and I well repaired car at the end at a fair price.
I have used Harveys at other times over the years and am happy to report that their level of service has remained excellent.

Harvey's Body Shop repaired my car from hail damage. They were quick to take in the vehicle.  However, the car was in the shop a week longer than what they promised.  When I picked up my car, nuts and bolts from my car were left rolling around my car.  I had to "find" where they were supposed to go and get them in the correct place.  The panel that lines the dashboard was not fastened so I had to take it back so to take it back so they could fix it.  Lastly, my car was given to me completely filthy with dust.  Apparently when they worked on it, they had all of the doors open and dust from the body shop built up in it.  Needless to say, it was disgusting.  I had to have it detailed. In a nutshell, the work was subpar.   I will never go back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Response from Harvey's Paint & Body
"As we recall, we had your car ready and you went out of town for a week. When you showed up we asked if you had time for us to wash it but you said you'd take care of it. It wasn't dusty because the doors were left open, it was dusty because we had it all apart & the glass out of it. Your damage was extensive (hence the insurance est of $4500) - We are sorry about the 2 door panel screws, but considering the extent that we had your car dismantled, it doesn't surprise us. It's not right though, the car should have been re-assembled precisely. - We do value your business and we are thankful that you chose us. - If there is something we are remembering incorrectly, please call us and let us know. We are always interested in improving the way we work with our customers."

My husband's car had been involved in a minor fender bender where he was hit from behind at a stop light. Also, after 5 years of use, the car had various dings and scratches which he wanted taken care of. We got 3 estimates and this shop was the most reasonable. The owner is very personable and professional, accommodated my husband's work schedule and kept us apprised of how long the work would take and when we could pick the car up. Basically, the car now looks brand new and the car was even cleaned and detailed when we picked it up! We were very pleased and would certainly use this business again.

My Honda was hit by a driver that ran a stop sign.  Their insurnace cut me a check and Harvey's estimate came out to be right around the same amount.  I had also checked with another well rated body shop and they were pretty much in line. However, due to convenience I went with Harveys.  They worked with me and assured me that they would handle the insurance if it came to be a greater amount.  However, no further work was required and my car looked better than it did before the accident.  I'd say a good value for the money.

I chose them based on the limited Angie's reports.  They did a great job.  You can't tell the difference in the old and the new paint.  Their prices were in line with other quotes.  Danny was a pleasure to work with.  He kept me up to date on the progress by email.

The paint was a perfect match. All work was performed earlier than promised. The final cost was $150 under the estimate, and they were able to obtain a used tire in very good condition for me for a very nominal fee, which was above and beyond the plan. Danny kept in touch with me throughout the process. I am extremely pleased and would highly recommend this business to anyone. My car looks like new.
