The project started great. They were on time and I was happy with the progress. When I started paying the requested draws for the remodel, I noticed that the quality and the professionalism dropped off! My final grade for this contractor is mostly based on the destruction that his work did to my house and my neighbors house. The cabinets were very poor quality. They have to come back 6 times just to make a couple doors close correctly. Lane Greenmark (the General Contractor) came by 4 times during the year that this project took and he seemed like he didn’t now much about the workers/companies that he used to complete my job. PLEASE READ BELOW! !!!IMPORTANT!!!! Greenmark failed to do a final inspection as Advertised on their website and now my Neighbors and my house has severe major damage. I had water leaking through my ceiling because of the new water heater. This caused severe ceiling damage and when they finally fixed it, they said I have to repair the water damaged ceiling. Before they laid the new subfloor, they installed new plumbing. Long story short, one of the new pipes was leaking and water ran under my house and made its way under my neighbor’s house for 8 months. I had to hire Accufind to come under my house because Greenmark Build’s plumbers did not know where it was or how to stop it. All they could see was the lake under my house! My neighbor has more than $10,000 worth of damage and my house is even worse. I have made multiple attempts to try to contact Greenmark about this situation but Lane just ignores my calls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GREENMARK UNLESS YOU CHECK EVERY JOB THOUROUGHLY APON COMPLETION! DO NOT PAY GREENMARK UNTILL THE JOB IS COMPLETE, AND I WOULD WAIT 3 MONTHS AFTER COMPLETION TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHINK WORKS CORRECTLY FOR A WHILE AND SO YOU DON’T END UP IN MY SITUATION!!. Greenmark has disappeared now and still will not return my calls.
