Gloria's Residential Cleaning

Gloria doesn't speak English very well, but her daughter was there to translate. They showed up later than we arranged but it's because they got lost. Honestly, after learning how far away I was (Allen) from them, I was surprised they agreed to come with gas prices being so high. Gloria and her sister, Maria, started in and did a really good job. I had used a previous service once, who took a total of 10 man hours to do a deep cleaning and frankly, the one who got taken to the cleaners was my bank account. These two get it done and in a reasonable time. We then set it up for them to come out every other week. I have an 1800 sq ft house, but 2 bedrooms they didn't need to clean. It was $75 the first time and $60 for every other week. They've only been twice so we are still working on the schedule. They showed up late again, the 2nd time. I really need to know when to expect them because I wait for them rather than leave a key.

Gloria was great the first time. She and her daughter cleaned everything completely, then quoted $80 for two women working 4 hours, which was fair. But each time she did a little less, and left sooner, until she was working only 2 hours and was by herself. Instead of using her supplies which was supposed to be included in her fee, she used my supplies without telling me. She expected to continue to be paid $80 for only 2 hours of working alone. Gloria was never as thorough after the first trip. After her daughter started back to school things really got bad. I felt that she did not earn $80, especially when I was providing supplies. Gloria also became undependable about what time and day she worked. I think she got too busy. At Thanksgiving she was cleaning 7 houses in one day.

Gloria did a wonderful job! My house has all wood floors with tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, and I abhor having to mop and dust. After reading other reviews I decided to call her. Because of the language barrier, I had to speak to her daughter and wait for interpretation but that was fine. I would love to have her back. The only problem is I live in a gated community and would need to be home to let her in. The next weekday I know I will be home I plan to call and try to schedule her again.

I really like Gloria. I will be using her on a weekly basis, and I can leave her here to lock up by herself. I Highly recommend Gloria!

I found Gloria's to be quite reasonable and efficient. They are inexpensive and do very good work. They always arrive on time and are prompt about getting their job done.

Gloria's Service did a wonderful job very courteous, professional, they had their own supplies. They got here & immediately started to work, Gloria's went above and beyond expectations they did a lot more than I expected for the amount of $ that was paid. I highly recommend Gloria's.

Gloria is wonderful and dependable. She is extremely professional and always has a smile. Our home is smaller than average (1500 sq. feet) so the charge might vary depending on the size of the home. Gloria goes above and beyond the typical house cleaning chores. If The dishwasher needs to be emptied, she puts the dishes away, if clothes are in the dryer she takes them out and folds them up. There is always something extra she does that you never have to ask for. I would (and have) recommended her to my best of friends.
