BEWARE!!! DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!! The new company that bought Frymire Home Services is a SCAM. The first time they came out, they told me I needed a new $1000 thermostat. I stupidly bought it. The second time I called them for service, they told me the part was under warranty but then turned around and charged me almost $2000 in labor.... EXCEPT... they didn't tell me that was the labor cost. Their invoice is worded as such as that the word "labor" isn't even listed but the words "in warranty" are so that they get you to sign off on the work. VERY VERY VERY SNEAKY and DECEPTIVE!!!!!! I received this invoice OVER A YEAR LATER. When I called about it, they told me they had been emailing me invoices. Hmm... why wouldn't you just put that in the mail? They told me I should have been checking my spam folder for the invoice. I'm sorry - who is looking for an invoice for work that was claimed to be under warranty?? Their "accounting manager" KUDA is a bully. BEWARE!!! CALL ANYONE ELSE TO HELP YOU.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I had Frymire come to do annual maintenance on my hot water heater 3 weeks ago. I was out of town. I returned to a large water stain on my ceiling (new) and went upstairs to investigate and my hot water heater had a slow drip. Because we didn't call for 3 weeks, they said I can't prove they caused it and charged me for the repair and won't fix my ceiling. Never use them again.

Frymire Home Services provided us an outstanding service for our water heater replacement on very short notice at a very fair price. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable experience from start to the end. Communication with Stephanie was very easy and comprehensible. Consultation with Kyle on the technical issues and pricing on our plumbing needs fitting into our budget was superb. During this consultation, we found him highly professional, conversant, proficient and helpful. He addressed all our issues and concerns with a remarkable understanding and set up a plumber’s visit the very next day. Next day plumber Benjamin arrived on time. He installed our water heater with incredible efficiency, extraordinary skills, and a great experience. His technical skills and demeanor are definitely unparalleled and impeccable. Based on our overall experience, we will 100 % recommend Frymire Home Services to every consumer.

Complete fraud/scam. NEVER hire this company. I am livid. Background: We have had a maintenance contract with them for years. They always recommend something to be replaced or repaired. Sometimes we do it, sometimes we don't if it doesn't seem necessary from what the guy tells us. We've even replaced a whole AC system with them. They came out one morning to do our annual maintenance. I receive a call from the guy saying he really needs to talk to me - he is getting a carbon monoxide reading of 7. The system needs to be replaced because it is unsafe (on the sheet he left, it says "downstairs unit unsafe". I have three small kids, so of course I'm thinking, I'll have to replace the system. I call another reputable company (Rescue Air) to give me another cost estimate on replacing the furnace. They come out the next day (and are fully aware of how much Frymire wants me to pay for the new system) and tell me that they aren't getting a reading higher than 1 on the meter. He measures it in the ductwork by the furnace, all around downstairs and upstairs. He tells me I absolutely don't need a new system or to do any of the repairs that Frymire has said I needed to do. They knew Frymire had told me I needed a new system and could have easily undercut them on price and gotten $5k worth of work. I think that tells you about the integrity of Frymire. I called them to cancel our contract with them. I received a call back from a customer service person. One explanation he gave for their high reading is that the system needs to have been on for a while to get that reading. It's been below 60 during the day and below 50 at night for while (they came in the morning), so it's been running for a while. When pressed, I asked him if his guys got a commission based on what they sell to the customer. His answer: YES. So OBVIOUSLY there is a huge incentive for them to push things that aren't actually needed and how would the consumer know?! I switched my maintenance plan to the other company (Rescue Air). They came out the day after and did another maintenance bc I didn't trust what Frymire had done. The guy comes down and says he needs to go out to his truck to grab some more sandpaper and showed me the flame sensor that needed to be cleaned. Um, my systems had supposedly had their maintenance done two days prior, so shouldn't that be cleaned? Also, he said the gas pressure was much to high, which can cause the unit to crack from the excess heat so he set it to the recommended level. Shouldn't this have also been addressed with Frymire's maintenance? He tested the carbon monoxide readings again and didn't get anything that time either. There are spaces for three options on the service sheet from Frymire. I'll put in parenthesis what the new company told me about each one. 1) replace igniter $345 and install hard start kit $345 (we don't need to replace the igniter - if it goes out, they will just come fix it that day - no reason to spend money on something like that now) and replace run capaciter $209 (tested the run capaciter and its performing within normal limits) 2) ***DS UNIT NOT SAFE** Near future repairs: blower motor and wheel $1,782 (the wheel failure rate is extremely low - no reason to replace unless it's actually broken), heat exchange $3,724 (actually reasonable price but don't need to do it), inducer draft motor $1,342 (again no reason to do this) 3) Replace furnace only $5k) or better option to replace the full system $10k(absolutely don't need to do this - the way it is right now, we should have at least a few years left on it, since it's an older system) I am also mad because who knows how much money I've spent with this company over the years with bogus recommended maintenance/repairs! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Frymier was awesome. I would recommend them. They work with you and for you. They were very professional, very understanding, polite. They did an awesome job. I will use them again and will recommend them to everyone I know. Their prices are reasonable. A honest and trustworthy company. They were on time and fixed the pipe.

All consumer and property manager beware of this is not the old frymire anymore. they are under new ownership and with bunch rip-off tech! I am the property manager with a handyman and were unable to get the heat pump furnace relay replaced on time so I gave them another chance to do it base on good experience in previous. however, the tech used old school trick:telling me his truck dont have the relay and need to get the parts then will call me back. lone story short, we end up been charged for 290 for just a relay! and he even quoted us for a bad run capacitor for total 460!! we called them to provide a detail work invoice as usual and they never send to us so we end up to tell landlord that's how it is.. Huge mistake I ever made..don't trust them at all!!

The price included a year of gold system where they would come and check it. There was also a diagnostic charge. The price is so hard to judge. I've had no problems since, so I would give an A for quality. They have been pretty responsive.

Service was needed recently but they would not honor the warranty because they closed in 2016 and then reopened as a new company. But they are still using the same name, and acting like they've been in business for 50 years, but really only less than a year. It's very dishonest.

Everything went fine the first service appointment and a couple issues were found which were fixed in a timely manner by a technican. Two days later one of my condensate pumps goes out on a unit and so the emergency drain pan takes the huge loads of water out a pvc pipe to the exterior. Damaging an exterior wood siding wall which I thought was weird on the timing of the dismise of the condensate pump ,but called the company anyways to come out to check things out. They tried to charge me $350 for a Little Giant condensate pump which cost $47 dollars off Amazon with free one day shipping. When I said no because I realized the huge markup a supervisor was called and the supervisor raised his voice at me with an extremely forceful tone because I would not pay the price. Total scam and will never deal with them again. That's coming from someone that paid over $300 a year to be a member with them!

They’re good, but they’re very, they’re one of those places that keeps trying to sell you more stuff. They’re very good at explaining what they’ve done for you. They leave the area very clean.

Plumber couldn't fix it, even broke a part on the toilet in the process but still charged $400. Said they'd come back with a crew and get on the roof . Never returned. And I made the mistake of buying a maintenance contract with them a couple of months ago.

Frymire is under new ownership, so all prior reviews are no longer relevant. I had a new HVAC put in in July 2016. I paid for an additional 12 year parts and labor guarantee that the new ownership is refusing to honor. They're argument is that the previous business received the payment, but the new business would have to do the work. From their standpoint the current Frymire is not a continuation of the old one, but rather a new business. Fine. But they should not, in my opinion, reap the benefits of the reputation for reliable service that the previous business built up. They want the benefits of the name recognition without actually earning it through honoring the previous customer base.

The firm charged us approximately $1,600 for work never performed. The successor firm refused to honor the contract. Another company inspected the furnace and said much of the work was not needed and charged us only about $200 for their work.

They are a very good company. They are reliable. You can  easily get an appointment with them. They have regular maintenance programs and things like that. I've been using them for like 10 years. I have no complaints against them at all. They are very reliable. They give you a time, they show up on time. Their work is very, very. very good. I've never had to make a complaint against them. If the repair person or technician didn't do their job right, it's a one shot deal. They come, they take care of the issue, they're gone. This was a freebie. I pay a maintenance. It's a $15 maintenance charge a month. It's a maintenance program for your air conditioning system and your heating system. They come out at least twice a year to check everything to make sure it's working. When they come out, they don't charge you because you're paying the $15 maintenance program a month for it. I had it before when they used to actually charge you a hundred and ninety something dollars for the year. Now they've went to a maintenance program where they just take it out on a monthly basis which is okay for $15 a month. Even when I've had to have actual mechanical work done by them, their amounts are reasonable. I even had them here on a weekend one time because my compressor on the outside of the house went and that's going back about 5 years or so. They are a good company to have. Trustworthy. Reliable. You don't have to call them back. I am using them now and I will use them in the future, unless ownership changes or something but I have no complaints against them so obviously, they are a provider I will continue to use. The air conditioning / heating business is a rough business. You get contractors who say you need this, you need this part. That's $400. They apparently don't work in that fashion. They'll show you what's broke if something is broken. They won't do what some contractors do. They say something's broken but they never explain what's really broken other than something's broken and they go get a part and fix it or something like that. This company is rather unique in that. They'll even say if you prefer, come up to the attic. I'll show you the part, I'll show you what's going on. One time, I did have a heating issue where the furnace didn't actually turn off 100%. The gas was supposed to automatically turn off at a certain temperature. It didn't turn off because one of the parts was defective. They were kind enough to actually show me the unit and say that it's still running on a very low flame and you don't want that because then your house goes up after that. They are the kind of company that, they don't mind explaining things and showing you before they have to do any work or anything of that nature. They do tell you the cost before they do the job. They won't do the job unless you agree to price that they have. They have these tablets and so forth. I know where I stand when I deal with them.

I've used Frymire Services Inc for years. I have a service contract with them. They're reliable. For price, I don't know how competitive they are with other people. I haven't done any research on A/C, so in questions like that, I can't answer. I've had them for like 20-plus years.

I'm happy with their services but I was thinking about someone a little more affordable.

They do a very good service for me, My furnace has always worked well, never broken down and they did replace a few things for me.

They're very nice and everything but I don't think their prices are competitive.

Their service men are professional.

Obviously padding of cost, lack of proper diagnosis and sub par work is being done by Frymire. One tech "tuned" up my AC/HVAC system for 180$ and gives a report that it's squeaky clean. Approximately a month later, another Frymire tech comes to tell me that my motor bearings are going bad and costs 700$ to replace..A 120$ motor is being sold by them for 700$.. Stay way from Frymire. I am.. for sure..
