When we first went to the Lakewood office of Ellen Terry Realtors (aka JacksonSells.com), we met Scott Jackson himself, and a new realtor, Floyde Ferguson. Scott assured us that we would have a great experience because his agency "worked as a team". Unfortunately, Ms. Ferguson herself did not prove to be an effective or particularly service-oriented agent. We frequently had to check up on her work on our offer letters, and contract to make sure there weren't spelling or math errors. In fact, although she took the contract over to the sellers herself, and had it signed, she didn't let us know for two days, putting us in a more stressful situation than necessary. Communication in general was a huge (negative) issue. Scott seemed more knowledgeable, and competent but was less accessible. Overall, we feel that we got our home at the price we wanted to pay. More by our own efforts than theirs.
