FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY

The photos taken by this provider on graduation night in regards to our son were worthless. The once in a lifetime night of graduation from high school where only a professional photographer is allowed to be close to the stage has left us without a photo of our son walking the stage to receive his diploma. He graduated magna c** laude which made it even more disappointing for us that we have no photo of him receiving his award. The  photographer did not use a tripod and between each student accepting their diploma folder had to readjust her camera. In the process she did not snap a photo in time and as a result got a our son looking at her, which he should not have been and the gentleman handing out the folders had his back to the camera because he was grabbing the next folder for the next student that was already walking towards him. Her delay and poor camera skills is what caused this. Any professional photographer would have noticed this and retaken it. This is sad as I wonder how many other students had poor photos as well. They took one backstage where his bangs were hanging where they could have told him to push them up under his hat but they did not. Of course for a fee of 15 or more they can touch that up. It is ridiculous that they even sent such a poor proof to us in the first place. This is not professional at all.  The least expensive photo pack is 1 8x10 or 4 5x7's for $50- for a fee they can touch up the photo and for additional retouching that includes removing lipstick smudges, stray hairs, you have to contact them for a quote and there is no toll free number. Ridiculous. This company should not be hired to take sentimental photos like this. Now I am without a photo of our son walking the stage on his graduation from high school. I am heartbroken to say the least. Not to mention there is no way to even do a retake. It is sad all the way around. This company has no business taking precious photos at all. Even from where we were sitting, you could tell the photographer wasn't that enthusiastic about being there and why there camera was not on a tri-pod I will not understand. When you have to take over 700 photos within  seconds or a minute back to back this should have been in place. Had it been this probably would not have happened. Nothing can replace this photo memory that was missed.
