FAUCET PARTS CTR

I went into Teter's with the faucet cartridge I was planning on replacing in my hand to make sure I got the correct cartridge. They sold me a moen 1225 cartridge. When I went home to install the cartridge, it went limp repeatedly. I wiped down the grease and it continued to go limp. I reinstalled the older cartridge I replaced and realized that the older cartridge had more resistance. I looked and saw that there were more resistance bands on the cartridge, indicating it was a different cartridge. I went back to return the cartridge that they had sold me and the guy asked me what he was suppose to do with it. That he couldn't resale it. I told him it was the wrong cartridge. He argued with me. The tone off the bat was combative. He passed me on to another person there working the counter who was helping another customer simultaneously and that guy spoke to me incredulously too. At one point the first guy opened up a moen faucet book enticing me to pick out which single handled faucet model I had. I try and support local business and I have been in there and bought plumbing supplies before, but I don't feel like its proper customer service to be combative with a customer. The guy who sold me the cartridge didn't even look at the one I brought in in the first place. Oh no, he never makes mistakes the guy said. Well, yall made one today. Oh and the cartridge is listed $10 cheaper everywhere else. No reason to support this local business again.

Bought a 1924 Craftsman style house, so I knew it would take some upkeep.  When a faucet went out, searched 5 different hardware and plumbing stores, none of which were at all helpful, then one mentioned Teter's Faucet Parts.  I walked in, showed him a picture of what I needed, and the gentleman immediately said he knew exactly what it was, got the parts I needed, as well as a full diagram of the sink in question.
Similar story for when a toilet seat needed replacing.
Would not go anywhere else for plumbing supplies.
