The total project took 3 days to complete. We managed to get a Class 4 impact resistant roof installed for the same price as our insurance company estimated for 25 year shingles. We also have a lifetime warranty.

I just want to say, to begin with, that I'm a little reluctant to tell the Angie's List community about Gabe because... what if I can never get him again? What if he is so in demand now that we need to clone him? Because the truth is, I don't make a move in my house without contacting Gabe. Like the time the Terminex guy put his hand through my wall and urgently tried to sell me thousands of dollars of termite extermination poison when it was only water damage? My daughter and I looked at each other and said, "First we need to call Gabe." Of course the Terminex guy never followed up. He knew. Grrrr. I saved a year to pay for my "cottage bath" remodel, painstakingly ordering and storing materials, measuring my small bath to make sure it all fit, getting Gabe's quote (he came in on time and budget, by the way), and saving for that. Because I only have one bath in my Lakewood cottage, and had to move in with my daughter during the remodel, Gabe and his team were concerned about getting it done in good time. However, that didn't stop them from doing every task super thoughtfully and with great care. Their experience and knowledge came into play at every turn... careful measuring, planning and laying out of all the bits and pieces. Raising questions that I never would have thought of. Arriving early and working long days. I was never anything but completely comfortable with their competence and professionalism. My new bath is beautiful, honestly. I just love it, and I'm so grateful. You know, it's daunting, isn't it? To dream of a kitchen or bath remodel, in particular, and a little overwhelming if you haven't done one before (as I had not). To have that kind of comfort level in your contractor ... and to have it go so well is a real gift. Now, if you want to use Gabe, and of course I think you should, you'll need to schedule him well in advance. He has a small team that has worked together for two decades. They're a well-oiled machine, and they're pretty busy. Also, I'm sure a lot of his customers are like me... unwilling to make a move when any emergency comes up without calling Gabe! And he's there for us, too. I haven't even told you about the several times he's come to my rescue. Which may be part of the reason he's so busy! I guess the only thing I need to add is that I probably have the smallest punch list in the history of punch lists. And that probably tells you everything you need to know in the end, doesn't it?
