Considering the granite we selected, the cost overall was more than fair and reasonable.

What was particularly outstanding was Pat noticed a few little thin

gs around the house that we did not contract for but he and his crew set about to fix things and did not add those to the bill except for materials as needed. Just an extra little benefit .

I have been redoing parts of my home over the last two years. I have an exceptionally well built home in a good neighborhood in North Dallas, and we can be a little picky sometimes. Pat, Chris and Scotty were the best I've seen when I compare them to floor finishers, drywall experts, painters, electricians, etc. These guys can do it all. It's ironic that they are the last ones I will be hiring, because I appreciate the quality of their work so much I wish I had met them a year ago!!

First, they came in, assessed my needs, made some recommendations (Pat's part), and got to work. These guys didn't even take a lunch break! They cleaned up after themselves so it looked as though they had never been around. Pat gave me recommendations for some fixes, which I agreed to, and they worked on those, too. They also fixed a very dangerous situation in my home where the light installer had installed the light incorrectly and the circuit shorted out. They were friendly and quiet, demanding nothing, but grateful for a bottle of water, even though Pat keeps it in his truck cold for them.

When Pat gave me the bill, it was for the original scope of work, even though I had expended their work scope several times. I paid them based on the work they did and the quality of the work. I'm a retired project manager, and I know a bit about scope creep.

I heartily endorse Equity Builders for your next home remodel or if you need a variety of things done around your home, and you don't want to call in 4 different vendors. They are honest, good-humored, and most important, do a VERY good job!
