My mothers old caned chair was damaged during a move. There was a big hole in the cane and I thought I was going to have to throw it away. I searched all over the internet for a company that could do this type of work in my area (Allen) and found Elite Furniture Repair Service. I took my chair to them and they quoted me at $167 to re-cane the whole seat and stain it to match the chair. It took them two weeks to complete the job and I couldn't be any happier, my mothers old chair is just like it was before it was damaged. They even gave it an old rustic touch, which really impressed me.

Several months ago, we tried one of the as seen on TV leather repair remedies- THEY DON’T WORK. Our fault. So today I called Elite Furniture repair to see about fixing it. I explained what was wrong and he mentioned pricing, sound just fine to me. They I told him what we tried to do, mistake on my part. THIS IDIOT PROCEED TO DEMEAN ME AND WHAT WE TRIED TO DO. I FELT LIKE I WAS BEING SCOLDED BY MY PARENTS FOR STEALING A CAR OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES. HE STARTED EXPLAINING HOW MUCH MORE IT MIGHT BE BECAUSE OF MY FAILED ATTEMP- I WAS OK WITH THAT AS WELL. I FINALLY STOPPED HIM AND SAID “OK- I’M TIRED OF BEING SCOLDED FOR WHAT WE TRIED TO DO- DO YOU WANT THE JOB OR NOT.and quot; A**HOLE HUNG UP ON ME!!! My normal demeanor is very calm and reasonable. I too run a business and believe whole heartily that if I scolded even one client I would be and should be out of business for my actions. What a poor representation of their company- I hope that was not the owner, if so beware. By the way, I generally let things like this slide and NEVER write reviews, I generally just never go back and never think twice about that company again. This was just TOO over the top to not warrant some public remark. All I can say is WOW. This must be the attitude of the company because the remarks below do not sound like it was the same person, my contact guy did not have an accent. This is too bad because their website shows they have done some good work and since my couch cost me about $4000 a few years ago I was looking for a company that looked like they knew what they are doing. Attitude gets you everywhere- I believe Karma will eventually catch up with them.
