Lin came a day late due to having had an injury. It would have been nice to have a call and not had to follow up with her, but I understand that people get injured. Once I called her she came out the next day with her husband. I think this was just a one-time thing as the last time she came Lin was very good with follow up.
Since we are not seeing ants inside the house any more they did not retreat the inside of the house. They put down bait, sprayed, and put down granules to address the ant issue. It turns out that ants are in all of our trees and in some exterior house locations. We have noticed a marked decrease in the number of ants since their visit.
We particularly like that Lin and her husband do not use toxic chemicals to treat pests. I don't want me and my family poisoned just to get rid of bugs. I also like that they treat for the pests you are having, they do not treat for pests you do not have.
We would recommend using Lin and her husband.
I called Lin on May 6 and she came on May 7 to deal with the ant problem I was having. I am having repairs and painting of the exterior of my house. When the rotted wood was removed from the front columns, large quantities of ants poured out. The painters also noticed ants crawling on the outside of the house and in the window sashes as they caulked. I chose Lin because her company does not use harmful chemicals. The chemicals they use are not toxic to people, pets, or the environment. Lin and Mick Ellis spent time looking at the interior and exterior of the house. They identified several types of ants including Rover ants, which are hard to get rid of , according to Lin and Google. They treated the inside and the outside of the house. In addition, they gave me suggestions to help them not come back in the future, such as trimming the bushes so they do not touch the house and planting or putting mint around the exterior of the house as ants hate mint. I have seen a dramatic decrease in the number of ants. The painters are also not complaining about the ants.
They are coming back in a month to ensure the ants are gone. In addition, Lin told me to call if I see ants and they will come out again before June to treat again.
Lin and Mick are pleasant, conscientious, and communicate well. They were thorough in their treatment and explained what they were doing. I will continue to use them for pest control, due to their customer service and use of chemicals that are truly safe.
