Ms. Helen is a very well known local agent here and she is all over here. Her fee is 3%. She did enough and I have used her for the past thirty two years. She is excellent. She does not waste her time. She is a great person to go with.

We could tell immediately that we wanted to work with her. She is committed to providing service to her customers and she has helped us every step of the way. I told her that I don't know anything about real estate and that I don't want to be involved, so she has handled everything.

This realtor stays in touch all the time. I have bought 5 homes and sold two homes through realtors, but Ruth stands out above and beyond the regular realtors. She is a full time realtor. She will call or email you promptly. She will show properties at your convenience. She knows the areas and the real estate market for your home. She is knowledgeable and as a buyer's agent looks after YOU. She saved me from a disaster. I think we started looking in July of 2010. I finally found a house I liked but she worried that the comps didn't hold up to the asking price. So, she advised me to put a clause in the offer that if the appraisal didn't come in at the accepted price, we would re-negotiate, or I would get the price of the appraisal and my earnest money back. Well, the price didn't come back at anywhere near the price the seller wanted. So, we backed out of the deal. Back to searching. I wasn't out any money. It was now October and I was getting desperate to close by the end of the year. Hopefully before Christmas. Ruth considered areas I had never thought of. And yet, once she expanded the area to include N.E. Arlington, I found my dream home. And for a price that was almost $20,000 less than the house I had previously put an offer in for. This house is more beautiful, larger by 300 square feet, in much better shape (the same home inspector I used for both homes told me the two homes weren't even in the same league. This house was much better!) The pool is almost twice the size. It had everything I wanted. When one door closes.... I honestly thought that Ruth would bail on me for being a problem buyer. I was picky! We looked at so many homes in the DFW area. Too close to neighbors, not enough privacy, small bedrooms, no separate living areas, privacy fence too short, icky kitchens or bathrooms, power lines, my NO list was long. But she kept with me and always kept me informed! Also, Ebby Halliday has a program for their buyers where they get a discount on buying new appliances. What a deal! This was a great deal for me from the start. Buying or selling is stressful, but Ruth can make it a pleasant experience. She also lists properties and I can only imagine how great a seller would feel knowing that Ruth is in charge of their listing. She will tell you the truth! If you want to get your house sold in today's market, I can't imagine anyone else to ask for. And for buying, if you look at your property as a potential investment to resale later, this woman knows her stuff. She saved me a lot of money! That's the bottom line isn't it?

She found us a home to buy in North Arlington when we went to her for a home in SW Arlington and could find nothing that we liked. She suggested a neighborhood and a home that we really liked. Unfortnately, we had to sell that home in 2009 as I thought I was moving out of town and when that did not happen, I had to find another home in a hurry as this home sold in 1 day. Cheryl helped us find one that we could take occupancy in two weeks after signing the contract.
