Service was on time and great.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE!!!  First of all, I hired Dragon Street Moving & Storage, but the company that moved me was a completely separate company with their own truck -- so clearly Dragon Street outsources its jobs, but it didn't bother to tell me that.  The company that performed the move showed up 1-3/4 hours late (immediately putting me behind the 8-ball because I had a specific, limited window during which I could use the freight elevators at my new location, and I had told Dragon Street about that).  The crew boss and his #1 guy were great, but the 3rd man was clearly a new worker (probably picked up from the Ross Avenue Day Labor corner) and his inexperience showed.  He was rough with the furniture and didn't work smoothly with the other men.  My furniture was damaged due to unnecessarily forceful handling, the walls in my brand-new space were scuffed, and the security guards were all over us for using the elevators beyond our allotted time.  I had color-coded all the boxes and furniture and given the men explicit instructions on what-color-went-where to help ensure that everything was dropped in the proper room, but they didn't pay attention and, as a result, I had to do a lot of dismantling and RE-MOVING of furniture the next day.  I don't blame the movers, because I didn't hire them... I HIRED DRAGON STREET.  I will NEVER recommend this company and, frankly, the whole experience makes me regret that I ever joined Angie's List.  This was my first experience with the Web site.

Scheduling the appointment was seamless and every effort was made to accommodate my clients schedule.  Paul and Daniel arrived right on time and set immediately to work.  They dismantled a king-size bed, moved out nightstands and all bedroom furniture and made sure that it was safely out of the way.  They removed the existing rug in the room and carefully positioned and installed the replacement carpet and set the furniture back exactly as they found it.  I use Dragon Street for all my delivery and installation needs, and recommend their moving services to all my clients.

Dragon Street picked up a large area rug (12' x 15'), delivered it in a timely fashion, cleared a family room of furniture (sectional, television, miscellaneous furniture) installed the rug and pad to fit.  All was accomplished right on time and took exactly the right amount of time.  The staff was neat, clean, courteous and very thorough.

It went pretty well. They were on time and very professional and friendly. They take extra special care of your stuff. The only thing they didn't do well was judge the amount of room we needed to hold our stuff.
