I've used them for at least 10 years. I have good reception. It works well for me. We have problems during storms. But, you're going to have that with the satellite system. That's just the way it is. It's generally very temporary because storms in Dallas don't last very long. They go through pretty quick. So, it comes back quickly. Once the storm is over, it's okay. Their pricing is average. Everytime I have an appointment set up with them, they hit it right on the number.

I am satisfied with them.  I haven't had any problems with their services.  They were timely and did a good.  I liked their programing better than I had Direct TV before.  I like the programing.  I think their signals are better.

I was setting up an account with them for two room service when I noticed that they were giving me one box for two rooms. It was dual channel and I didn't want to have something being recorded while two people in the different rooms were trying to watch something. So basically it would make the dvr obsolete because you can't record anything with two people trying to watch something so when I called to inform them of this they said it was no problem because it had to channels and couldn't seem to comprehend my problem and why I wanted two boxes. Then the woman on the phone got disconnected and all I can say is that if thats how they treat the people trying to start service how are they going to treat there customers after they already have there money and there under contract.

They were terrible. It never worked well and we could never get it fixed. Whenever we called we didn't get service. I just paid the year contract after six or seven months and switched.

Once up and running, the configuration we have (PVR connected to primary HDTV with secondary standard-def output routed to another non-HD TV) is pretty good. The PVR menu system falls far short of Tivo's, which in my opinion is the best available PVR solution.

We switched from cable to dish for two reasons. We didn't want the above ground cable line connected to the house (it interfered with trees) and at the time, Dish was cheaper than cable for most of the same channels. Since we signed up for Dish, the price has increased by a few dollars a month. Our dish goes out whenever there is bad weather. (This includes rain, wind, snow or ice.) There is not a lot they can do for bad weather. There have been occasions when major sports events have been televised on premium channels when in the past they have not been. If you don't turn off the receiver each time, it takes several minutes for the channels to load once you turn the TV back on. Finally, I have encountered some very rude telemarketers asking me to upgrade my service. This doesn't improve my opinion of the company. We remain with Dish because it is a hassle to keep switching. They are fine for what you pay.

THEY HAD TO COMPLETELY REWIRE AND DRILL HOLES FOR THE CABLES TO ATTACH OUR 4 TELEVISIONS TO THE SATELLITE DISH. THEY WERE PROMPT IN SENDING SOMEONE OUT, BUT I GUESS THEY NEGLECTED TO TELL HIM HOW MUCH WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE, SO HE WASN'T AS HAPPY SPENDING SO MUCH TIME ON OUR INSTALLATION.

THE PEOPLE THAT TRIED TO HELP ON THE PHONE WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. THE SERVICEMAN WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. HE EVEN WENT ABOVE THE ACTUAL PROBLEM TO HELP ME SOLVE SOME OTHER TV, DVD, VCR CONNECTION PROBLEMS FOR ME.
