Description of Work: Hired him to do landscaping; he is just doing yard work. His men are wonderful, but they are not providing the care that I paid extra for. He could not even identify what kind of damage had been done to my lawn, was it a disease, or bugs, or heat. I had to purchase and treat the spots myself. 30 years in the business should have told him what the problem was. I had expected a more responsible approach.

 + -1 moreDanny and his team installed a beautiful new St. Augustine lawn in my backyard. They were efficient and professional every step of the way. After checking out my yard for its general condition (terrible) and sunlight (I have lots of shade), he recommended a type of St. Augustine sod. He explained the process very thoroughly - how they would till up the lawn first, then fit the sod around all of the existing flower beds, sprinkler heads, shed and so forth, and then roll it to make sure the new sod would adhere to the existing soil base so that it could root properly. About a week later they showed up bright and early and did a fantastic job. When I got home from work, I had a beautiful new lawn. It is already very green and you cannot even tell it has been sodded because it is so perfectly laid together. I have some pretty intricate flower beds, a funky-shaped deck, etc. and they matched it like perfectly laid carpet. They also trimmed the trees and large shrubs to allow air flow and sunlight to get to the grass. (This was at an additional charge of $350, which I found reasonable as I have a lot of trees.) The dog is so happy and loves to roll on her back in it. Danny also called after the sod was installed to explain how best to maintain it. I have been watering it twice a week or so and we've also had significant rainfall, so it is very, very green with virtually no brown spots at all. I am THRILLED with the process and found the cost to be very reasonable for the quality and service and product.
