Return visit for my next service. Owner on site is thorough no-nonsense pricing is much better than the dealership prices I’ve experienced. I feel peace of mind that necessities are being care of but I’m not being “upsold” work I don’t need.

It is cheaper than Park Place. I'm sure they're reasonable. Their responsiveness was good. They do a lot of prophesying which I don't think is professional. I had to stumble over all the religious stuff. Although it doesn't interfere with work, it just seems like it's in your face. I don't have a lot of choice. It's either going to the dealer or to them, and they are more reasonable. I don't mean to badmouth them but when you have a sitting room that's a prayer meeting room, it's far overwhelming to us.

Took 2001 Volvo V70 in with several engine oil leaks. They diagnosed and fixed both front and rear cam shaft seals as well as some other minor issues for $1500.
Then the day after we picked up the car with these repairs a drunk driver ran into our parked car in front of our house. The adjuster determined the cost of repairs and said the car was considered totaled, but because of the shape of the car and the low mileage, his opinion was that it was worth fixing. We had it towed to Dallas Elect to get their opinion. Their estimate was basically the same as the adjuster's and also said the car was in good enough shape to repair. Originally their estimate was just over $5200 but agreed to a contract price of $5000 to fix whatever was needed once they got into it. Together with some other minor repairs, they replaced the rear wheel and entire rear suspension assembly with a 2003 model and had the body work taken care of by another shop. They did find another oil leak--oil dip seal leak--and charged $100 for that as it was unrelated to the accident.
It's been about a month since getting the car back. It's working great and looks like a new car. Obviously alot of money spent on an old car, but using the insurance money to cover most of the repairs, it was much less expensive than taking the insurance's "totaled" offer price and trying to buy another car of similar caliber and low miles--especially since we had just put $1500 into it to fix oil leaks. We have been happy with the results.

I first took my car to the dealer for an appraisal; they wanted $4600.00 for the same work. He was fabulous! He only works on Volvo's. Jesus was the technician, he used to work for the Volvo dealership so he knows them well. I was very pleased with their services and they are closer to me than the dealership. They finished this entire project in slightly over one day! There waiting room was more like living room, it had comfortable seating with lamps. I was very nice. I would definitely recommend him to any Volvo driver!

The work, location and owner were all more than I expected. I waited for my car while the work was being performed and the waiting area was exactly as described on the website. I will never go to the dealership for work again.

This is my second major service and repair with Mark and once again I am very impressed. He takes a personal interest in each item and take the time to inform you in layman's terms what the issue is and what your options are to correct it. When I picked up my car I noticed that Mark had repaired something not on my list at no charge. The leather boot on my hand brake had a broken bracket so the boot was coming off. He glued it down and it is just fine now. To replace the entire boot and frame requires a major expense which I would not do at this point. Mark and his team take the worry out of owning and driving my nine year old Volvo. Love your Volvo? Protect your investment by taking it to Dallas Elect. Great and prompt service and they get it right the first time!!

Very direct approach and all business. Was a bit taken aback at first but in the end my Volvo and I have found a friend and the best place to see that the vehicle stays in tip top shape and on the road for an extended life.
Service was done same day and without any delay. Mark Broberg is serious about getting the job done right the first time and delivers the goods as promised. If you have any doubt or concern about your service/repair just show up and he will look into it right away and send you on your way with all objections cured and with a smile on your face.
There are many shops in Dallas that work on Volvos but not many that are Volvo Specialists. This man is not only a Volvo Specialist Volvos are the only car he and his team work on because he is in such demand! Smart, Smart, Smart!
I have dubbed Mark Broberg and quot;Dr. Volvoand quot; as he has resolved issues I have had with my pre-owned Volvo since the day I bought it and he did it in a flash, explaining it all in language that I could immediately understand.
My Volvo is eight years old, has over 95,000 miles on it. Great concern for my friends who tell me to get rid of it since it isand quot;oldand quot;. That is not old for a well maintained Volvo but I had considered doing just that. After we visited Dallas Elect and Mr. Broberg worked on my car within days I left on an extensive vacation through four states and my car (which has always performed well) actually had significantly better performance and after the first 500 miles I even got 2.7 more miles per gallon fuel economy!
Extensive knowledge and experience!
A passion for excellence!
And oh, did I mention that he uses OEM parts?
If you drive a Volvo there is only one person to entrust it to for the best work while you wait in a comfortable lobby with WI FI. You will be extended every courtesy and although you may think you know your Volvo, trust me, Mark knows it better from the moment they meet and he will make sure you understand it better too! Mark has a loyal customer for life!

The owner has a no nonsense very forthright demeanor. I suspected that some repairs recommended by another service company were unnecessary and he concurred. Service was prompt and the car seems to be running fine so far. The location is convenient to me, an issue important as the Volvo dealership in the area moved to quite a distance away.

They did a good job and were better than the Volvo dealer. They were not really excellent in price but they were good.

We spent about $900 on that service. I think that shop knows Volvo's inside and out. As far as I know, nobody services Volvo's without a high price o parts.

Dallas Elect has done all of our Volvo automotive repairs in recent years, we won't take our Volvo to anyone else. Mark and his crew are always very professional, prompt, straightforward and HONEST in describing what work needs to be done. They have also on several occasions saved me money by refusing to repair something that they believed was not really broken (how many car shops do THAT??!), and by trying repair alternatives (i.e., "tweaks" to engine parts) before deciding a major expense really was necessary. I trust them with our Volvo's care implicitly.

They performed a minor adjustment for me for free when the car was still under warranty. I decided then I would return for service once the car was out of warranty. I called and made an appointment, they had the ticket already prepared when I arrived, reviewed the services I requested and looked for other issues (which they found). They called me with a detailed estimate prior to beginning any work, and discussed any options I would have. The work was completed the same day and the car was ready when I returned to pick it up. What more could you ask for!

They told me what it was going to cost and charged really close to what they estimated. They got the job done in the time they said it would take them.

For car repair guys, they were pretty punctual, don't try to sell you a lot of extras, they have a very clean/comfortable waiting room, clean shop, and estimates pretty close to what it ends up costing. They are a little far from my house. I tried a shop closer to my great dissatisfaction. I will be going back to them.
