Crosstown Engineering was great to work with throughout the entire process. Melissa in the office answered all of our questions regarding home inspections and helped us accommodate a scheduling issue with our Realtor. The inspector Jordan was prompt, extremely thorough and patient. He communicated his findings clearly and concisely immediately after his inspection and then provided a detailed written report. We had additional questions which he answered promptly. Great customer service at a very competitive price!

It went well. Adam took all the measurements needed in a timely manner and had the report to me that day! That was awesome. I paid the extra $25 to have it quick, but I didn’t realize it would be that quick. It was angies list that helped me find this company, and melissa had a lot to do with why I chose this company. She is very personable, friendly, asked questions and listened with such patience and professionalism. Due to us dealing with major plumbing problems, mold, on top of many other issues, she sent Adam to help me. I really appreciated that next level of service. I feel confident that while my foundation can never be repaired and will always have issues, that his recommendation is ideal for what we are dealing with. I went so far as to recommending them for my friend on this same day. She is buying a new home and needed an inspection. They were able to get her scheduled in 2 days.

Josh Smith arrived right on time for a thorough inspection of our pier & beam foundation. He first checked multiple elevations and then went under the house for a detailed inspection. After he finished, he gave us a detailed summary of what he had found and answered all of our questions. He did a great job, was very informative, and clearly showed his expertise. We will definitely have Crosstown do another inspection next year, because we know that having a foundation in good shape is critical. (Josh said we could wait 2 years for another inspection, but we sleep better if we get more frequent inspections!)

They worked with me through every step and even suggested other companies that could help me with certain aspects of the job. I needed to know if my foundation was structurally sound and the gentleman there came out, talked to me about potential problem areas and then put me in contact with a company to come give the report. Found out it was just aesthetic and nothing serious thankfully but if I did have issues I’d hire these guys for the job. They know their stuff and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand but not condescending. They really want to help their customers and make sure they are safe.

Even though my mother's home was built 2002, I could feel the floor sloping. I originally used a different app to find a civil engineering company. Crosstown was the only company that really understood our concerns. I set up the appointment within a week. The engineering pro that came to our house was Adam G. He was very thorough in measuring outside and inside the home. He calmly explained his findings, soil, his recommendations, etc. He sent our home report to us within a week. Let me tell you, if you want peace of mind, call Crosstown. I highly recommend them, and ask for Adam.

Adam Green with Crosstown Engineering was very professional, courteous, and meticulous when he came to our home to examine the condition of the foundation. We wanted an independent assessment that would be totally unbiased given that this is essentially the skeleton of the structure. If the foundation were to be repaired incorrectly, that might cause even further damage down the road and more money consequently. Adam performed both the initial inspection and the final inspection once the third-party company had completed the recommended repairs. He even went so far as to analyze additional data we had obtained a year and a half prior during a different season to draft the most precise engineering report possible. For anyone who is considering foundation repairs, I would highly recommend obtaining at least two reports, one at the end of the summer season and the other at the end of the winter season, so that the structural engineer that is hired can assess how the foundation is shifting throughout the year. If too few piers are installed than what is actually required, it is highly likely some of the piers may fail. He also recommended a drainage system as well as additional and upgraded gutters to help prevent the accumulation of too much water around the home. We couldn't be happier with Adam's work and expertise and, as such, highly recommend his company Crosstown Engineering for your foundation needs.

I had a clogged drain the required tunneling under the house and chipping away a chunk of the foundation to repair. I asked Crosstown to assess whether or not the foundation/home remained structurally sound after the work. The owner Adam came out to do the assessment the day after I called. Although the scope of work clearly had not been made clear to him, he promptly adjusted and provided exactly what I wanted, suggesting that it might be best to put in a couple of piers i n the foundation to strengthen the weak spots. He followed up with engineering reports and referred me to a foundation repair firm with whom he was familiar (which was also excellent). Once the work was done they came out again to insure all was well. I can enthusiastically recommend Crosstown Engineering to anyone needing foundation assessment.

From the first conversation to the final inspection combat the company was cordial, communicative, and professional.
