We bought a laptop there about 9 months ago enduring the service as described above, because they had the best deal. When we took the laptop in, they told us a way to back up the hard drive; the guy gives us the 3.5 external hard drive hub, assures us and sends us on our way. I get home and realize, he gave us the part for a home PC and not the needed laptop part. So I call, talk to a service tech; he tells us we do have the wrong part. When I told him the other employee told us it would work, he responded, "I doubt it." We return to the store to exchange it, but find out there are sold out of the correct part with a 25 person long waiting list. Would have been nice to know. We were forced to buy the converter. So the laptop gets sent off and returns with a 20 gig hard drive instead of the 100 gig that came with the laptop at time of purchase. The headache continues as we are on our way back to CompUSA. So everyone would be better off to price match from one of their competitors.
