I called Monday, and they were ready to show up 2 days later; however, I could not be there that day. We scheduled a mutually workable day and time, and they were there right on time. It took 2 guys only about an hour to locate and replace the faulty valve and to locate all 7 other valves in my system. Then I was invoiced by email and paid by credit card over the phone. I would highly recommend them.

They quoted me a price that was very reasonable. I had to deal with them from a thousand miles away and they still did a remarkable job. My neighbor came to supervise and it was great. They came out when I couldn't get ahold of the installer who actually installed the system originally. They checked all the stations and even gave me advice on what to do about the sprinklers that were spraying on my windows. He gave me great recommendations. I went back to them immediately for future work.

Went so — so. I wasn't impressed with office personnel. The young man who did the work, did a good job. But did several things without checking with me first.

"After 30 years in business we realize that we may not exceed every customers expectations & unfortunately we are getting a less than favorable review by this customer due to existing issues with a system that obviously has been patched up over several years (customer acknowledged this). We showed up when scheduled, did the work as requested & per the customer, our technician worked hard & did a good job. We not only gave the customer a discount but also spent 4.5 unbilled hours with multiple company personnel tracing existing wires, which caused this job to be less than productive (causing a poor review by customer). After seeing the customer’s existing drainage, we didn’t feel like we would be able to do any additional work & be productive. The customer seemed to be trying to have a problem with the information. The customer misrepresented the facts on the issues during the service of the sprinkler & failed to pay for services in a timely manner. We are not interested in doing any further work with him & feel it would be a waste of time giving him a drainage estimate since the existing drain is in the “same sub par patch worked condition as the existing sprinkler system wiring, which will cost a substantial amount to get in a proper working condition. We feel that the customer wouldn’t be interested in spending the money. Thank you"

The whole area is on multilevel raised stone. There are areas with plants in them as well. I didn t compare pricing with other because my landscaper said they were dependable. They make adjustments when needed. It wasn t very cheap, but they did a great job and it fits all of my needs.

They refused to give me a written estimate, contract, or price list. They were late to the job, and put me in a bind because I had scheduled a concrete pour for a sidewalk. They didn't even show up on the third day, so I finished the job myself, before the concrete truck showed up. When Collett did show up, I let them do the job because of the time constraint, and they charged 5X the cost of materials instead of cost plus 10%. We went to small claims court, and I got a reduction, but they used the fact that they had not given me a written estimate or contract to enforce their outrageous prices.

"OUR COMPANY HAS BEEN IN THE LAWN SPRINKLER BUSINESS SINCE 1980 WITH AN EXCELLENT REPUTATION IN OUR INDUSTRY. THIS JOB WAS DONE PROPERLY & IN A TIMELY MANNER IN JULY 2005. THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THE MEMBER HAD HIS PEOPLE DIG THE TRENCHES FOR THE WIRE. THEY WERE INCORRECTLY DUG WHICH RESULTED IN EXTRA TIME & LABOR FOR US. HE ONLY WANTED TO PAY FOR THE MATERIAL (WHICH HE COULD HAVE PROVIDED) AT OUR COSTS. AFTER HE WAS BILLED WE WERE NOT PAID. WHEN WE PROCEEDED WITH COLLECTIONS FOR OUR LABOR & MATERIAL HE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB. NOT ONLY DID WE RESPOND TO THE BBB SATISFACTORILY WE ALSO WON IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT & WAS FINALLY PAID BY COURT ORDER IN NOVEMBER 2005. ADDITIONALLY, THE MEMBER DECIDED TO DO ANY ADDITIONAL REPAIRS & LOCATE HIS REMAINING VALVES HIMSELF."
