They were thorough and were able to accommodate my appointment on short notice. Price was very competitive based on the other estimates I received.

On May 9, 2017, we called Climate Tech out to service an air conditioner that was not cooling properly, blowing warm air. We had just had them out to do semi-annual maintenance on the unit three weeks earlier, so I was surprised to have a problem with it so quickly after. Two technicians came out and spent over an hour inspecting the unit before telling me that the condenser was completely ruined and we would need to replace the entire unit. They quoted me a cost of $8,953.75. Since it was such a huge expense, I told them that I was going to have to get a second opinion from another contractor, which I did the very next day. The second contractor took a quick look at the unit and identified the issue within 10 minutes. Somehow, I suspect during the routine maintenance performed on April 16th, a wire had been switched on the condenser unit, causing the breaker to trip on the unit. The Climate Tech technicians did not even check the breaker before declaring the condenser ruined. What could have cost me almost $9,000!!!!!! with Climate Tech would up costing $100 in labor to my new favorite Air Conditioning Service Company. I have been a customer of Climate Tech for over 6 years, since before the former owner sold the company to the current owners. Mark, the former owner, serviced the air conditioners himself, and was always honest, fair and on time. I feel sick about what the new owners have done with the business he sold them. Although I have a service contract with them that will last another 9 months, I WILL NEVER USE THEM FOR ANYTHING AGAIN!!!

It didn't. First and last time I will be calling these folks. Had an appointment between 2 and 4. Called to find out where tech was at 430. They proceeded to tell me the tech was at the Job before mine. Said they would call the tech and abruptly hung up on me. I call back again at 445 and they tell me that he has to install a part and then he would be on his way from Garland. During rush hour it would take an hour to get from Garland to north Plano, but when I told them 6:00pm would not work for me (I must have been on speaker phone) some other person chimed in and said it wouldn't take him that long. Maybe they have those new flying cars ? Anyways, I called back to talk to a manager and was hung up on. There are too many other companies in the area to have to put up with poor customer service. To make matters worse (for them) this could have been an easy sale. I just needed a price on a 2.5 ton Trane unit. I already know mine is bad!!! Find someone else.

We have a yearly contract so Climate Tech comes out twice a year, where they come out in the Spring and in the Fall. They were fine all the way around.

It went really well. I've been in my house 2 years now since I got off active duty and have had several AC companies and have not been impressed with any of them. With Climate Tech, I was really impressed with just the ease of scheduling an appointment and their friendliness. The ladies who answer the phones are really nice, from the first time I called and then rescheduled because of weather, they are so accommodating! The gentleman who came out was very nice and knowledgeable, he didn't try to push anything on me and gave me good information, feel very confident in his assessments.

The experience was good. They came twice; once was $175 and the other was $120. They are good people.

I've been using them for years. I chose them through my church bulletin because they go to my same church. They are fabulous. I have a contract with them. They really stand behind their work. They put in my new system 4 years ago and not a thing has ever gone wrong with it. One of my dogs bit off some of the insulation and he replaced that for free even though it was my dog that did it. They do the little extras without charging. The owner told me I would get a programmable thermostat and they brought the wrong one. He brought it out himself because he said they brought the wrong one out. They deliver what they say they are going to and a little more than that too. I have been so happy with them.

It was good. They are always on time. They seemed to be knowledgeable. We have a service contract with them. They're very easy to get a hold of, very responsive. We've always liked what they've done.

He had the best price out of everyone that gave me an estimate. He even got me a TRANE AC unit, I was very happy. It has been a year and I have not had one bit of trouble with it. I would recommend him to anyone. I even recommended him to my neighbor. They are honest and decent people.
