Churchill Mortgage

After shopping around to a few mortgage brokers, I decided to utilize Churchill Mortgage's Dallas Texas location to refinance my current mortgage. I started the process in August 2012 after I completed the loan application. As we moved forward, the closing date was set for the end of September 2012. Some time in early September, the representative I was working with left the company. No one from Churchill called me to take responsibility for my loan. I finally call their office to find this out and was transferred to a new representative, Mason Whitehead. He confirmed that my loan was proceeding as planned and we were on schedule to close at the end of September. I continued to be updated through out the month that they would meet the end of September Closing. When the end of the month came around, they did not make the closing date of the end of September. This is important because my existing mortgage was an FHA loan and I had to pay the full next month's Mortgage Insurance and Interest. After concessions were made to cover a small part of this cost, we started the whole process over planning on a Thanksgiving closing (1.5 months away).We started the process over the first of October as planned and proceeded with all of the paperwork. We scheduled closing the Friday before Thanksgiving, but Churchill could not get the paper work done, so we moved it to Monday Thanksgiving week. But again, Churchill could not get the paperwork complete so we were put on call all of Thanksgiving week to close, which never happened either. Then it was schedule the next Monday, they missed that date and then again the last possible date to fund in November, and they missed that date. The loan was signed the next day, forcing the funding into December. Thus causing me another month of interest and mortgage insurance. Then we were told three days later that Churchill Mortgage put the wrong funding date on the documents and we had to go through the whole signing process again. The worse part of this experience was that due to my work schedule and holidays, I was unable to travel waiting on Churchill Mortgage. Additionally, due to their poor performance, I had to pay 3 months additional mortgage at a higher interest rate, interest and mortgage insurance with very Churchill only covering a small portion of this expense.
