We clean ALL types of windows including storm windows, skylights, mirrors, chandeliers, gas & electric lamps, ceiling fans and patio furniture. We clean rain gutters and pressure wash all types of flatwork, patio furniture, BBQ and facades. Many times the windows are particularly dirty our first service. We come in and scrub pad by hand the glass and frames, then soft scrub the entire window and screens with a feathered soapy brush and rinse with water to prepare it to be cleaned on the exterior. We wear shoe covers and use drop cloths inside, so we work without a trace. We open windows with screens and clean the inside track, underside of sash, sill and sash. We clean it like it's ours!

"Recently in joining Angie's List I noticed a scathing review posted back on 08/04/09. I checked my records and recall this person and the situation because I found it to be so unreasonable and unusual and logged my attempted correspondences. It was a simple straight forward job on a condominium, which we usually find condos and apartment windows normally in neglect which requires additional work. In the course of cleaning the windows the nylon screens had deteriorated from UV damage and we offered to have the worst one redone as a courtesy. Repair one screen and return for $65 + tax. We delivered to Tex-Sun Shade who charged us $21. 43 + tax. So $43.57 labor for 2 men to drive to Garland deliver screen, drive back pick up and return to customer. In the interim customer calls and decides she wants all 7 screens redone. I quoted an additional $60 labor ($10 per) plus cost of 6 additional screens. My cost totaling $150 for 7 screens + $43.67 and $60 labor = $103.67 Labor to come back remove the additional 6 screens second trip to screen company then return to pick them up and deliver and install at customers. Cleaning windows is more profitable and we only did this as a courtesy. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] called on 08/04/19 the same day she posts her review and left a nasty message stating her dissatisfaction with the charges and I returned her call the next day starting at 8am (5 - attempts that day), again left message the next 08/06/09, again the next 08/07/09, and again on 08/17/09 and left message with an explanation. I had no recourse but to let this go. The only add-on charges were the screens, there was no mention of carpet or tip or that I would be performing the work as I am the owner and have an excellent crew. The person that cleaned the windows had worked for me at that time 7 years and now 17 years. In all the years I have been in business as Childers Window Cleaning 35+yrs I have not had 1 single complaint with the BBB and I don't mean unresolved complaints, I mean no complaints. First Trip - Windows Cleaned - Inside/Outside $159.60 Clean: Screens, inside tracks and sills. First Time Clean-up - Razor all outside glass and extra duty on inside tracks. $78.26 1 Screen repaired including labor. $65 - First Trip $302.86 + tax. Second Trip - 7 Screens repaired $150 cost minus $21.43 for first screen which was paid for on the finish of the cleaning. $128.57 Labor for second trip and 6 more screens. $60 - Second Trip $188.57 + tax.
