That was fine because my unit just blew up and they were out after it blew up and it was summer. They were very good. It took them quite a while. It was like a full day. They were here for several hours because they had to replace the entire unit inside and out. The workers were fine. They left the work area very clean.

I bought my unit from them several years ago so I just keep using them. I have a deal and that is where I participate in for a year. You get two services and it is cheaper. It is still over $100, but it is quite a bit cheaper than just paying them as you go. I have used them for years. They did the tune-up in about 30 minutes. I have had some nuisance that all I did was just complain to the girl that runs the office and she never stands to that. The guy that they sent for the last couple of times is very good. He left the work area fine.

It was $128. I have two air conditioning units. I've used them for a long time. They guarantee their work. They did something on our air conditioning last year. A guy installed something and wired it backwards. They sent somebody out the next morning. My air conditioner didn't work. I'm in Dallas and it gets a lot warmer here. So, we spent a pretty uncomfortable night and the next morning when I called them and told them that my air conditioning still didn't work, they had somebody out there in 30 minutes. Their prices are good. Their quality is not perfect, but good. They give me a four-hour window. If they gave me a one-hour window, I would give them an 'A' on punctuality. But, they give me a four-hour window and the guy sometimes gets there in the early part of the four hours and sometimes in the late part of the four hours. It's part of their business. They always answer the phone when I call. It's a 24-hour thing. I've been using them for 15 years. They installed the units.

Unit (1 of 2) had been keeping house cool but not as efficiently or as cold as it should. Service rep was on time and professional. Chapman performed its routine a/c service items. After completion of such service rep tried to sell me a leak check costing $250 He stated that with or without the leak check, he would likely need to replace the condenser coil for $4,000-$6,000 or replace the whole unit. Very unusual that a Properly maintained Trane would need to be replaced after only 8 years. Overcharging for freon and selling inferior units appears to be Chapman's new business model.

"I did speak with you about your concerns for the work performed. We discussed and agreed upon Chapman providing the leak search at no charge. That was done on 7/2/14 and the service tech did not find a leak at that time. I initiated calls to you to check on the perfomance and I never heard back from you until later in July. We performed another leak search 7/28/14 at no charge and again, we could not find a leak. You signed our service tickets acknowledging our findings. Trane makes high quality equipment and that is why we have been a Trane dealer for 34 years. However, mechanical things can break down and we have no control over that. We install and service, we do not make it. In order for Trane to replace the coil under warranty, there has to be a leak and we can not find one. I do encourgage you to call our office if you are still having issues with that system. We will gladly work with you anyway we can."

Wonderful.  We have an annual ESA contract with Chapman so we didn't pay anything for the service, but we did pay for a replacement filter.  Randy was fantastic, as always.  He genuinely cares for his customers and has helpful suggestions for maintenance and for saving money.

Chapman gave me a reasonable estimate to replace my furnance and air conditioning unit. When I decided to have the replacement done they arrived right on time and finished hte work in about 5 hours. The techs were very professional. Very satisified and have referred them to friends.

This company had serviced our old system multiple times and then it stopped working in august and they were able to patch the unit and get it to work for the weekend and were extremely helpful.  They installed our new unit the next week and were kind enough to hold our check for that friday since the unit we purchased was so expensive but the owner said you cant go without a/c in the heat.  They are highly recommended by my family.

We called after coming home to find the house 92 degrees. I tried the main number and the emergency after-hours number, where the message assured me I'd get a call "shortly.". They never called, so I had to call again the next afternoon. They had been out to our home a month before and made some repairs under warranty, so we wanted to use them again. I was told that they couldn't possibly come until the next day. They couldn't give me anything more precise than a six hour window. During the first visit, the technician told me there was nothing he could do because the problem was electrical. He told me to call an electrician. The electrician told me the problem was actually with the compressor, which was surging and tripping the breaker. So we called back Chapman for another technician. A few hours later, Chapman came again to give a quote. The second technician was the bright spot of the experience; he was very competent and helpful. But the quote to replace the compressor was horrifying. A representative called me the next day to say that someone spoke with my husband, and My husband wanted to replace the compressor. In fact, no one called my husband, and we hadn't decided what to do. That blatant misrepresentation helped us make at least one decision. We called another company, Air Force One. They called back a short time later, gave a quote less than HALF the cost of Chapman, called Trane to confirm the warranty (which Chapman did not offer to do), and gave a precise time for the service. We definitely do not recommend Chapman.

This company is terrible! My AHS Home Warranty sent them out when I called about the a/c. They came out, told me that my air filter was dirty. I laughed out loud because I just put in a clean unit earlier that day. I retrieved the wrapper from the top of my trash and told him that wasn't the problem. Then we went outside and he sprayed my unit with a hose. I expressed doubt as to whether that would solve the problem. He finally told me that what we really needed to do was open up my intake vents so it could suck in more air. He went to the truck, retrieved a pair of needle-nosed plyers and proceeded to pry open every third or fourth vent. After doing one of the three intake vents he asked if I would mind doing the other two. On his way to the door he assured me that my house would 'be an icebox' shortly. He was wrong. After getting rid of AHS a real company came out and fixed the problem by replacing my unit. Either these guys don't know what they're doing or they're the puppet of AHS, either way avoid these guys.

Great, as always. Chapman installed our new A/C and furnace a few years ago and we've used them ever since for seasonal tune-ups. Scheduled about a week ago. Service is prompt, efficient, and courteous. Randy, the technician who has been out here several times, is fantastic--goes above and beyond to check everything out and make sure everything is running smoothly. He found a leak around the vent pipe this time and will be back tomorrow to replace the old vent pipe/flashing.

I have a home shield for my house and when our external unit went out they sent out a company to replace the unit. The company that they sent out planned to use sub-par materials to replace the unit. So I called the home shield company and asked that they give me the allowance and I would find my own company. I dug around for a while and found Chapman Air Conditioning. They came out and gave me an estimate for the work. They were accurate with their estimate and they took the time to explain what needed to be done. They were punctual, clean and neat. They were very knowledgeable and communicative with me. They chased me down a lot on the phone to follow up and keep me in the loop. They did an excellent job.

The person(s) who answers the phones and books calls at chapman LIED to me - not once, but FOUR TIMES, assuring me that I was on the schedule. I was nice and patient and appreciative. Now, almost 48 hours later, I am still without airconditioning in 100 degree weather. And now, the technician, who finally returned one of my 15 phone calls to their emergency paging number that tells you that you need to stay close to the phone because a technician will be calling you back within 15 minutes, who called be back three hours later and 42 hours after I called a set up the appointment for 12 hours ago, says that I AM NOT ON THE SCHEDULE. Plus, this is a repair to a problem that they supposedly fixed on May 6th of this year when they replaced a couple of major parts of my system. The parts are still under warranty but that doesn't do me a whole lot of good when they won't even return your calls much less honor the warranty.
