During this week long project, the painters were gracious and professional. They also kept me up to date on the progress of the project. Afterwards, we didn’t find one spot of paint on floors. My home was built in 1928, they had to sand all the baseboards and molding - yes, past the lead paint - and now my home looks brand new. No cracks, no paint splashed on my floors, and the crew always cleaned up every day so I didn't have to put up with the dust. They carefully protected my rugs, my wood flooring, and my furniture. The crew is spectacular - with a shout out to Trevor and Luis, who kept me updated and went above and beyond to see that everything was perfect. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.

+ -1 moreHaving an old house can be a fun living experience, especially the cozy feeling and non-cookie-cutter architecture rare these days. We love the character of our house! Though sometimes it comes with a cost... maintenance. Our cute cottage needed some paint work. Not the whole house, just some parts, especially where the painting was peeling off. Clark came out for a look and offered a cost-effective solution... actually, the price was outstanding, at least compared to the other folks that stopped by for a quote. The gentlemen he sent talked to me before the job to ensure he had the correct directions. I appreciated him double checking with me. Once the job was completed, the painter once again checked with me to ensure the job was done correctly. It was! From beginning to end, Clark and his crew were outstanding in their work and professionalism, especially exceptional considering their prices painted over the competition.

+ 0 moreWe were renovating my father's condo and had a time constraint to work with so I looked up Certa Pro on Angie's List and called and spoke to Trevor Walker, the franchise owner of the local Certa Pro painters. We set a time to meet at the condominium and he was there before I was. We went through the rooms and I told him what I wanted to do with the spaces. He listened and made notes. Then he went room by room and gave me an estimate including wallpaper removal, patching/repairing and then painting. He was very cordial and very professional and gave me a quote that day. We then set up a time for the crew to start and he gave me a good time estimate for finishing the job. I met them there the first day and went over it all again with the crew. I gave them the paint colors I wanted and they started on time. When there was something that was unexpected, they asked me about it and explained it very well. It only costs me a few hundred dollars more than the initial quote since we hit an unexpected problem, but I was fine with that. It turned out very well and I am pleased as can be!

He talked through all of my options and was patient when I made several changes between estimation and day of job starting. I even made changes the day of the job and he was patient and willing to work through a new quote, on site, before they started. He even helped me with paint ideas and choices. I had to be out of town, for a family emergency, during the job and he kept me updated throughout . He returned all the calls that I placed to him within hours. The crew did a phenomenal job! I haven't found one mistake and I am a perfectionist. The paint job is just incredible. I would definitely recommend them and will use again for any future painting jobs!

+ -1 moreTrevor came out a few weeks before the date that I requested for the actual painting to go over all requirements and provide an accurate estimate. He provided a written copy of the estimate for my records. The date for the work was selected at my convenience. 3 painter crew arrived on time and were very nice. The lead painter went over the work to be done with me before starting to make sure there was no confusion. They moved the furniture and protected it. I've never seen such quality work at such a low price. These guys painted perfect lines when cutting in with the gray paint I selected. They moved the furniture back in place and cleaned up after themselves. Great job done.
Description of Work: Painted inside inserts in "picture frame" paneling. Very clean lines cutting in from trim.

They have an influx of different people all the time, which is kind of an issue, they should have the same people come, not send someone else to do it. The person that gets paint, would disappear for hours, I did not think that was very responsible.

Very personable and professional; spent a lot of time talking options, answering questions and paying attention to our concerns & issues. Received fully detailed itemized offer on April 23. Made Terry aware of our need for painting to be accomplished by the first week of June, but not earlier than mid-May. Began 24 May and finished 1 June. A 4 to 6 man crew plus carpenter was used during the calender period excluding Sunday to accomplish the job. Outstanding crew, very conscientious, met daily with me to discuss work done during the day and what the next day would hold. Very satisfied with the work and Terry's organization. Description of Work: Craftsman Blt. 1919....not fully painted for 20yrs: Painted House Exterior w/ 3-color Sherwin Williams, Satin, SuperPaint: Soffit, Stucco, Wood Siding, Windows, Shutters, Doors, Door Frames. Included: Attic Vents, Front Porch Ceiling, Standard Prep, Frieze Boards in Trim Color, Windows in Two-tone, Beams,Tudor-style Trim. Excluded: Brick and Porch Floor(not wanted), and Detached Garage (under modification). Clean Up: Daily and upon completion. Notes/Misc: Much of this project was priced for one full tinted prime coat and one complete coat of 100% acrylic paint (all wood that is severely peeling). Stucco and siding in rear are priced for two coats of 100% acrylic paint. Applied paint according to manufacturer's specifications using a combination of spraying, rolling and/or brushing depending on the surface being painted. Reseating of loose trim or siding wood due to rusting nails was included as part of the preparation process. While minor wood replacement was required, the full extent of the wood replacement project was not determined until covered damage was assessed up close. During the power wash process inspected the wood thoroughly to determine if other areas need repair. An estimate for any additional wood repairs was provided w/ their carpentry repair services at a $45 per hr rate. Wood Repair/Carpentry Replaced 3 rotted siding boards in rear; Installed 1X4 wood frame around window above rotted siding; installed New Synthetic Stucco in Rear and Made Additional Repairs on Right Side; Hardie Stucco board installed and trimmed with 1X4; Replaced 8 feet 1X4 on windows on right side; Replaced 5 feet 1X6 on windows on right side second story; Reglazed Windows as Needed; Provided Enhanced Prep of Windows, soffit, fascia and frieze board on 1st story - front and left sides only & 2nd story fascia on left side. Senior Discount A discount of 5% of completed work is applied if paid by check. Marketing Discount Allowed ($150) to use home for marketing to the neighborhood. 10% down payment.

+ 2 moreCalled after receiving coupon in mail. Professional bid. Nice people but lack of detail on work. Did not paint backside of trim. Painted backside of gutters only after pointing out twice. Left an inch gap on replacement of trim on garage door with explanation that this would prevent water from seeping up from ground and rot wood. Replaced weather stripping on front door. Door would not lock and took 3 days to place original stripping. Had all windows replaced and contract stated that windows would be masked. Did not mask the windows leaving paint residue and spots on the windows from sprayer. Minimal scraping of old paint. Job did not reflect the amount paid.
