Fabric was ordered (took about 4 weeks to come in) with 50% down. When fabric arrived they called to setup pickup of chair by their upholsterer. They arrived on time, took the chair. One week later (ahead of schedule) they called to setup delivery, again arriving on time.
The craftsmanship was excellent and it turned out exactly as we wanted with all corners tight and material well fastened. Several days after the chair arrived, Calico called to see if we were satisfied and said they would run the credit card with the second part of the payment.
It was a great experience. My only caution is that this is NOT a discount firm -- you pay a fair price for outstanding quality workmanship. I could have bought a new chair for the price we paid; however, the new chair would not have been a solid mahogany frame and wrapped springs -- this chair will last much longer than new ones would.
