Borchardt's Gas grill Repair & Cleaning

I am so disappointed with this company. Last year they did a fine job. This year the left grease stains on my patio stone. They would not return my attempts to get them to look at the problem. They also sent me two late payment notices so far when we had paid them by check the day of service. I don’t know if this is new management or they have got so many reviews they just don’t care. Beware!!!!

Never underestimate the value of a good cleaning! I thought I might need new burners as one was not lighting completely and one was burning very yellow. But the cleaning solved both problems and saved the considerable expense of replacing them. I also did not get the promised email or call the night before, but Johnathan did arrive on the afternoon requested. Perhaps additional administrative help is needed, but overall this is a great service. I think I will have the cleaning once a year.

I specifically indicated that my grill needed both cleaning and repair. They did an acceptable (but not exceptional) job of cleaning my grill (not sure it was worth what I paid). However, I am still waiting for them to come back to me with information on the repair. The cleaning guy told me that two of my burners needed replacing and one of the igniters needed repair. He actually removed the two burners. I have no idea where they went. He also said that someone would contact me with a quote for the repair work. I have heard nothing from them over a week later. That's consistent with my experience up front with them. It took quite a while to hear from them when I tried to book the work, then they said that they would email me the day before to let me know when they would come. No email. Very, very unprofessional business.

Responsivemense and sense of urgency was slow. The grill cleaning was fine, but after the cleaning, and replacement of the two valves and burners, those two valves and burners had excessively hight flames, and even on the lowest setting were substantially higher than the other three burners. The employees that did the repairs and Borchardt's said it was just grease on the flame tampers. The only way to keep the grill below 500 degrees was to turn those two burners off. After a year of trying to figure out the problem, with the help of the manaufacturer (Lion Premium Grills) I discovered Borchardt's installed natural gas valves on my LP gas grill. I emailed them a week ago requesting a refund of the part cost and installation charge ($202) for their error, and there has been no response.

When you call, A REAL PERSON ANSWERS THE PHONE which I really appreciate. She set up an appointment for a few days later. They charge $145 if he can fix it on the spot, which he was able to do. My grill is now fixed and I am pleased and I recommend this company. My only suggestion is that they should call if he is running late. Spring is their busy season so honestly I am just grateful that they could work me in. If you can schedule your repair or cleaning for fall or winter, I don't think lateness would be a problem.

Grills were very clean. Some trash was not cleaned up. Otherwise very satisfied.

Extremely well. Two gentleman arrived on time and got to work right away doing a thorough cleaning. The grill was really dirty - cooked on grease that had dripped all through it. They took it apart and steam cleaned some of the parts and did the rest by hand with a vacuum and some type of chemical to cut through the grease and grime. They were here about 2 1/2 hours and I was shocked at how clean they got it! It almost looked like new. All the grease and grime was gone and it shined all over. The men were very nice also, polite and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Unbelievably good job.  The grill is approaching four years old and I use it between 3-4 times a week.  Everything looks brand new.  I had no idea this was even possible.

We have used this company and in particular this serviceman before. He remembered us when he repaired our Weber Grill. He was professional and got the job done. He identified the problem immediately and most importantly there are no more problems with the gas supply anymore. Job well done.
