Best Buy Windows And Siding

Unfortunately, I have to write this review because I am getting too deep(if you know what I mean) in solutions for the problem. I give them a 5+ on the windows and a 0- on the front door. Bill, the salesman, is excellent. You will not go wrong contacting him. The windows are great at a very reasonable price. I got 3 estimates, they were the best. Now, the front door looks great. You have to deal with a noise or squeak coming from the threshold when you open and close the door. I have never had to deal with that on a new door in my 45+ years of owning a home. The installer, Francisco, tried to fix the problem twice. In one conversation, he told me they had never installed a threshold like this before. I find that hard to believe. The manager, Eric I believe, came by and looked at it twice. He said he needed a representative from ProVia who made the door, come by and take a look. Just last Wednesday, July 30, Eric and the representative come by to look at the problem. I was told that the door was installed properly. He asked me for some furniture polish, so he could spray it on the threshold. Obviously that will cure the squeak or noise, but will it permanently. The squeak came back in 2 days. The representative told me of another product I could use(I don’t recall the name). Bottom line the door may be installed properly, but I should not have to grease the threshold every week. Do not buy a front door from this company or beware that if there is a problem, put your waders on because the solution will get deep.

Wish I didn't have to write this, but buyer beware! Questionable quality, and if you need them back for anything you’re SOL. :( 2 years ago we replaced over 10 windows, as well as all the siding, fascia, and soffits around the roof ($35k+!). A couple months ago a large storm ripped about an 8 ft. section of fascia completely off! Literally torn a long strip of metal in two like a piece of paper! A call to their office gets us "Oh, so-and-so is in a meeting, but he'll definitely call you back by the end of the day”. Couple weeks go by, call again, I get "Oh, so-and-so is in a meeting, but he'll definitely call you back by the end of the day”. Another couple weeks, call again, I get "Oh, so-and-so is in a meeting, but he'll *definitely* call you back by the end of the day”. We’re still waiting. Meanwhile, I’ve got 8 feet of rafter exposed to the elements. I question the quality of the metal, to be torn the way it was (see pics!), but even worse, the customer service has been completely unacceptable. Buyer beware.

I've probably called 6 times about a broken window, I've talked to the same man twice and I have talked to Shelly, no one will even call me back. They don't stand behind the warranty. It's all good unless you need someone reliable these folks aren't reliable. The BBB is next stop.

We paid for our windows in June of 2021. We re promised the windows in September. They are still “trying to work with the manufacturer” to get our windows. (Feb 18,2022). We are managing them because they lack a proactive PM process. Consider other window company before going to these guy. Terrible!

Best Buy had a great, affordable price. We did not have to pay any money up front. When they came to do the installation, they were punctual, friendly, quiet, respectful of our property, and totally proficient at their job. They covered our furniture and cleaned up as they went along. They told us how much they expected to accomplish the first day and when to expect them the next day. We cannot say enough about this excellent team of installers!
