A 3rd generation, family owned business, our mission is the maintenance and care of the health and beauty of trees and shrubs. We are an international organization, with offices in Canada, England and Ireland. Our Research Laboratories advises us about the latest technological advances in arboriculture and assists our arborists with training updates. The laboratory networks with professionals at universities, government agencies, and allied industry groups. This enables us to provide state-of-the art procedures and techniques to our clients. Everything went great. The individuals trimming my trees did the best job ever. The trees were pruned and shaped. The technicians took their time, shaped the trees so they look balanced from all angles. They took off what was necessary without over trimming. My trees look perfect. The clean up was outstanding too. The technicians did a nice job of cleaning up the mess so that all looked perfect when they were finished..

When we moved here, you know they had trimmed it way too often with people unskilled so it was tab.One of their worker, the guy that came out here he works for the city he is a consultant to the city Irving and I can see why because trees are his passion, the work that they did re trimming it I ask it to be done in a natural way and when I saw huge chunks coming off the tree that were about ten twelve inches in diameter there were couple that they had to do that from they fell on the ground that's how he was able to estimate how how it was. They made it look natural again we have used them for the last two years. They had a standard run to fertilize it you don't have worry about it they keep you on schedule and they come by and tell you it's time to fertilize your tree.

Sort of a mixed bag. I selected the company based on good reviews. Called to have an arborist come out to see the trees and give suggestions on pruning. Arborist showed up exactly on time and was very thorough and knowledgeable. He said he would have an estimate back in a day or so. I had to follow up with an email and a call to the office to get the quote. Finally got it and I felt it was a fair quote. It took follow up a couple of times to finally get on the schedule. Tree crew showed up on the scheduled time and did a great job. Honestly I was not expecting them to haul off all the trimming but they did. Yard looked great after they were done.
I had also contracted to have the stumps ground down. I would have thought it would have been somewhat automatic to get it schedule once the trees were removed but it was not. I contacted the arborist a couple of times and he responded that he would get it scheduled. More than a week later I contacted him again and got no response until I sent an email cancelling the contract. I had also called the office and still have not heard back from them.
So overall the quality of work was good. Follow thru on the front-end and back-end was bad. The C grades on punctuality and professionalism is exclusively related to the lack of communication.

Team arrived on time with James DiPiazza, the Arborist/Service Representative. The Rep walked the Property with the team going over details of the job. They worked for 2 hours in the rain and successfully completed the job. I know that I will need further work on my trees and I will definitely request the same team. Very professional, courteous and hard working. I may have paid more for Bartlett's, but they are worth every penny. This is the third time that I have used them. On previous jobs, they removed large broken branches two 50' pecan trees.

They were excellent. They got kind of confused on the dates. They were very professional. I would use them again. He charged the minimum to come out. They were a little pricey. It was one tree, and I didn’t want to lose the tree if I had someone just coming out and hacking on it. They are not tree cutters. He is actually very knowledgeable as an arborist. They are expensive, but they are worth it. I am normally off during the week. The days that we set up, they came out a different day. But I happened to be there at the time. He wrote back and apologized, and had the guys come back out on the day that I was there just to make sure that everything was okay. He came when he said he was going to come. It's just that there was a miscommunication on the date. After they did their stuff, I said that I really wanted it a little bit higher up. He met the requirements for the city of Flower Mound. But he sent the guy back out free of charge to me. The only thing that would prevent me from using them is that they are expensive for minor cutting and trimming. But for anything that I need done to that tree, I would definitely call them out again.

They were terrific. I think it was in October 2013. We have 200-year-old oak tree that they trimmed off and they did a fabulous job. Whatever they charge it was reasonable. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up everything. The tree looks great. They are very knowledgeable.

Last service was to trim dead branches from red oaks. We have used Bartlett several times and have been pleased with the quality of work and professionalism. The arborist is a master certified arborist and knows his business. He pointed out where prior trimming was incorrectly done and left so that disease could set in. They may be a little more expensive than others, but definitely worth it.

Since treating the tree, we have seen progress with the tree. It’s had three treatments and it looks much better. I am satisfied with their work. They clean up well and keep their appointments.

We had a contract with them for so many visits. They came twice. However, they will only work at their convenience. As far as professionalism goes, the arborists are an ‘A’, but the staff is an “F’. The work they have did was good though.

The trees do withstand wind and ice better by the way Bartlett trims them for me. I probably would have had more trees damaged if it weren’t for that. My trees do look prettier with their trimming work. They are really great! Garreth is who we primary interact with and he is great. They are expensive, but they are not overpriced. You get what you pay for.

I have used Bartlett Tree Service for many years with absolutely no problems. Because of their superior service my trees weathered the ice storm very well. Others in the neighborhood lost lots of their branches and some even lost whole trees. My 3 trees had only minor damage and I think will recover quite well. Bartletts has also been the only one to fertilize my trees each year. I get many compliments on the trees from everyone that sees them. Although they are only 30 years old they look like trees that are much older and bigger.I enjoy the fact that Garath is my go to person and is very knowledgeable about trees and how to keep them healthy.
Whenever there is a problem and I call, they always call me right back and get out here ASAP. They may cost a bit more than the guys who come by and want to "trim my trees" but they are definitely worth the difference.

Their cleanup was great. No issues. They were timely and professional. As far as bang for your bucks goes they may be more expensive, but I truth them.

This is juts the last in a line of frustrating dealings with household services vendors: sprinklers, roofing, now trees.
The symptoms are the same. You contact a company and the ?estimator? comes out. I tell him this is what I want and I am
willing to pay for it. In some cases I write out a detailed spec with a sketch included. You get the bid, it may or may not be what
you wanted. You go back and forth. Agree. The crew comes out. The Supervisor does not have the spec or the sketch. He may speak English reasonably well. Work starts.
Supervisor leaves, you are left to deal with a lead. You stop it and ask ?what about??. The answer, nobody told me about that. Work is ruled finished. It isn?t, plus things you asked for and expected to be done aren?t. Unhappiness.
Bartlett followed the script o a tee. A staffer who is a registered arborist walks the property. An aging tree has hollows in it that the woodpeckers are into. They catch water. No more cement in trees, the arborist says they use expanding foam. I say OK, do it.
We discuss tree thinning. And the mistletoe in the trees. I say do it.
Get the estimate-printed out in the truck. Nothing about the foam. I said I?ll edit it to include. Answer, no problem just a few dollars, don?t worry we will do it.
Crew arrives. Start work. Work quickly and efficiently, non-stop. Impressed. I ask about the foam. Here it comes: no one told us about that. Anyway a different crew does the foaming.
Tree thinning starts in the trees with the mistletoe. One worker appears to be cutting out the mistletoe. They leave. There is still mistletoe in the other tree and it is apparent that worker had to step over the mistletoe to thin his trees.
Estimator doesn?t show up to do QC.
I call. Mistletoe removal waasn?t in bid and oh yeah I forgot to tell the crew about the foaming. Will send someone out to do it.
So a certified arborist doesn?t insist mistletoe be removed even when it is in the way.
Foamer shows up. Only does the lowest cavity, spills foam all down the tree and onto the ground. Call, oh we only discussed one cavity?.B.S.
These guys maximize profit by quoting you what you think you are going to get and then do what they can do most productively, i.e. maximize profit on a fixed price job by minimizing inputs.

[member name removed] met with an ISA Board-Certified Master Arborist who walked the property with him, discussed the work that would be done and wrote a detailed proposal which explicitly stated what work would be included. [member name removed] signed the proposal, signifying his approval and agreement of the work we would do and how much it would cost. We completed all agreed upon work, including filling one cavity at no charge . We responded promptly to his complaint and tried to set up a meeting to discuss the proposal vs. the work done, but [member name removed] did not agree to that meeting. We feel that we did everything we could to resolve his concerns. Our goal is to maintain properties and work for success with our clients."
