 + -1 moreWe were impressed with this company. The person who helped us was very informative and helpful. In this regard, they were very responsive and professional. Everyone we dealt with there was courteous and knowledgeable. We felt the closing costs were very reasonable.
Description of Work: We got our first mortgage through Bankers Financial Mortgage Group and they still hold it. She walked us through every step and made sure we had full knowledge of our rights and what we were paying for.

 + -1 moreBecky and her assistant Jana were very professional and on top of ever thing in both transactions. Things got a little harried at one point (my fault), but they pulled everything together for both closings at the original quoted rates, costs and dates. We couldn't have asked for better service.
Description of Work: We worked with Becky Walters, who had been referred by our Realtor. Becky and BFMG worked with us on both a Home Equity Line of Credit for our current home and a 30 yr fixed mortgage on our new home. The HELOC (at zero closing cost) was used for the down payment on the new home, which we bought before putting our current home on the market. The 30 yr fixed mortgage on the new home was quoted and delivered at the lowest rate available in the market, with zero points.

 + -1 more-but was to be sold to another lender. Before closing I was contacted by their Sr. Loan Processor, Sabina Soto, and was told that they had a few disclosures missing and that I needed to send them again. At closing Mr. Jackson showed up stating that Mr. Taylor was unable to come because he was attending a family occasion. At the end of closing I was handed an envelope by Mr. Jackson marked return to borrower at closing. After returning to our hotel I opened the envelope to discover another individual's financial docs. I called their office and was surprised to get Mr. Taylor on the phone since I was told he was unavailable for the closing. Mr. Jackson was sent to my hotel to retrieve the docs. I then asked Mr. Jackson if I could receive my financial documents back, because I was now nervous about their whereabouts. He said he could assure me that my documents had not been misplaced would get them back to me. However, he seemed annoyed at my request to return them to me at my hotel.
Description of Work: I contacted Gerry Taylor at BFMG to obtain a mortgage. During our first phone call I asked if they would be servicing our loan or would our mortgage be sold to another co. Mr. Taylor said they would be fully funding our loan and that they were not a mortgage broker. I took that to mean that they would be servicing my loan. I also inquired about the costs related with the process and the cost of recasting the loan at a later date. We worked for the most part long distance via phone and email (we were moving from OH to TX). Mr. Taylor asked that I supply him with an app. and some other paperwork. After supplying Mr. Taylor with copies of our financial info and the sign docs. requested I was then passed off to one of Mr. Taylor s Loan Officers, Hank Jackson. When I received my Good Faith estimate I found that the original verbal estimate had been understated. I also was told that the estimated cost of the recasting was also incorrect and that my loan was not going to be serviced by BFMG-
